The Banking Academy delegation visited and worked at UEH

On the morning of October 30, 2023, at room A.204, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) had a meeting to welcome the Banking Academy delegation to visit and work.

On behalf of the Banking Academy, there was the participation of Associate Professor, Dr. Mai Thanh Que - Deputy Director; Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Viet Dung - Director of the Research Institute for Banking; Mr. Nguyen Quoc An - Head of Administration Department; Mr. Tran Hong Viet - Deputy Director, Training Support Center; Mr. Nguyen Nhat Minh - Researcher of the Research Institute for Banking, and related units.

Welcoming the Banking Academy delegation, on behalf of UEH was Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Khac Quoc Bao - Vice President of UEH; Mr. Tran Anh Thanh Son - Deputy Chief of Office; Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Phong Nguyen - Head of Scientific Management and International Cooperation Department; Mr. Nguyen Van Duong – Head of Department Student Affairs; Dr. Doan Dinh Lam - Head of Department of Facilities; Mr. Tran Hoang Tam - Head of Department of Finance and Accounting; Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Quang Huy - Deputy Head of Department of Undergraduate Training.

Overview of the meeting

On behalf of the UEH Board of Directors, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Khac Quoc Bao - Vice President of UEH - expressed his joy in welcoming the Banking Academy delegation to visit and work: “Over 47 years of formation and development, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City has become a prestigious and key university brand on the domestic education map. Representing the Banking Academy, Associate Professor, Dr. Mai Thanh Que - Deputy Director - shared her emotions with UEH's warm welcome and open communication. He hoped that this meeting would be a step opening future cooperation between the two sides.

In the spirit of open sharing, UEH and the Banking Academy exchanged experiences in implementing university administration listed as training activities to improve academic reputation, scientific research activities and international publications, student affairs and business connection; infrastructure renovation activities, improving operational quality at UEH; learning and exchange experiences in other professional work, etc. The meeting also helped the two sides overcome shortcomings and achieve efficiency in university administration in the future.

With frank and open sharing and exchange, the meeting took place effectively, creating a premise for opening up more extensive cooperation in training and research in the future.
