On the afternoon of March 17, 2025, UEH and Eduglobal signed an MOU to implement the organization of the Versant English Placement Test (VEPT) by Pearson Education Group (United Kingdom). This is an important step forward in facilitating learners’ access to international English assessment standards, enhancing their language proficiency, and promoting global integration.

Attending the signing ceremony, representing Eduglobal were Mr. Dang Xuan Thang - Chief Executive Officer (CEO); Mr. Nguyen Trong Dung - Deputy Sales Director; Ms. Pham Thi My Huong - Head of Testing Department; and Ms. Nguyen Hai Linh - Assistant to the CEO.

Representing the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) were: Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh - President of UEH; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Khanh Nam - Rector of UEH College of Economics, Law and Government (CELG); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Phong Nguyen Deputy Head of Research - Development and Global Engagement Department; Dr. Dinh Thi Thu Hong - Deputy Head, Department of Training; Dr. Nguyen Quoc Khanh - Director of the Center for Educational Testing; M.A. Vo Ha Quang Dinh - Vice Head, Department of Facilities Management; M.A. Phan Ngoc Anh - Deputy Head of Communications and Partnerships Department; M.A. Nguyen Thi Kim Chi - Vice Director of the Scheduling - Testing Department; M.A. Dang Thai Thinh - Deputy Head of Facilities Management Department; and M.A. Bui My Ngoc - Deputy Head of UEH School of Foreign Languages.

After discussing and agreeing on the operational directions for the upcoming period, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City and Eduglobal officially signed the MOU, which includes the following contents:

- Collaborating to organize the Versant English Placement Test (VEPT) by Pearson Education Group (United Kingdom) and issuing the corresponding certificates;

- Jointly organizing conferences and seminars on English teaching and training according to international standards;

- Supporting students, lecturers, officials, and employees of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City in enhancing their language proficiency to meet academic and professional requirements;

- Organizing academic exchange activities and networking to improve the quality of language training and strengthen the connection between the university and businesses.
