03 Dec, 2025
From December 8-12, 2025, the annual Dream Concert Vietnam International Concert series, organized by the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) and the New York Classical Music Society (NYCMS), will take place with the theme "Dream Concert Vietnam 2025." In its return, the concert series will be held in two major cities, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, across four main venues: the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, the HCMC Student Cultural House, the National Economics University, and the University of Transport and Communications in Hanoi. This marks a major milestone on the journey of disseminating artistic values and leading change for sustainable development in the lead-up to UEH's 50th anniversary.
First held at UEH in 2022 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Vietnam-South Korea diplomatic relations, the concert has since become an annual event cherished not only by classical music enthusiasts but also by learners, faculty, staff, partners, and the wider community. The program has expanded beyond UEH to other cities across the country, including Hanoi, Nha Trang, and Da Nang, with each performance attracting over 2,000 attendees.
The program offers a classical arts space, featuring timeless masterpieces from renowned composers such as Beethoven, Mozart, and Vivaldi. As an end-of-year tradition, the musicians also perform symphonic Christmas carols, bringing peaceful and festive melodies to the UEH community.

Returning in 2025 with the theme "Dream Concert Vietnam 2025," the audience will be treated to world-renowned classical compositions, including Beethoven's Symphony No. 9, "Ode to Joy"; Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 21 in C major, K.467; and Vivaldi's "Winter," RV 297. Through these performances, the event aims to create an impressive and unique artistic space for all attendees, featuring world-class artists.
The 2025 Concert themed "Dream Concert Vietnam" will take place at the following four venues:
Throughout its 50-year journey, with an orientation to become a Multidisciplinary and Sustainable University in Vietnam, UEH has not only aimed to provide a foundation of knowledge and life skills for future generations but has also pioneered the building of a "Community of art inspirers and changemakers for sustainability." In line with this strategy, UEH has continuously partnered with domestic and international organizations to host meaningful artistic activities for the community. The international concert series is not just an outstanding artistic program but also a cultural event that celebrates international solidarity, annually commemorating Vietnam-South Korea diplomatic relations (December 22, 1992).
UEH is proud to partner with the New York Classical Music Society (NYCMS) in its mission to spread the beauty of classical music, contributing to building a knowledgeable and creative community for a sustainable future.
