As part of a series of activities towards the 45th anniversary (October 27th, 1976 - October 27th, 2021), the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) held a welcome performance festival with the theme "Pride and Development" from April 12nd to 15th, 2021. This is also one of the school's unique cultural and artistic events that help students develop comprehensively. In addition, the performance also helps maintain a healthy cultural and artistic movement, is useful for students; from there, it helps discover excellent performance, good vocals, adding to the school performance team who will serve in UEH events and festivals and participate in upcoming national and city contests.

Each faculty, institute, and dormitory unit builds a program according to the theme of their choice in 25-30 minutes, with 4 or 5 items, of which there is one with bold UEH identity. The show attracted 17 registration units to participate; in which there are 14 programs and 01 item. In particular, the show also had the first attendance of students from UEH Regular University - Vinh Long Campus. 

The concert and award night took place on April 15th, 2021 with 13 special performances selected by the Council of Judges from 70 items of the preliminary exam nights on April 12nd, 13rd and 14th, 2021. The performances are seriously invested in both content and form, showing the unique characteristics, talent and creativity of UEH students. The performances at the festival revolved around the following themes: Praising the country’s homeland, national traditions; praising life, love of youth, friendship, teachers; praising UEH's 45-year tradition; image, student life at UEH. The performance is judged professionally by the Panel of Judges who are famous and experienced musicians and directors in order to select the best repertoire and programs.  

The event was honored to welcome the teachers, school leaders and units of the school: Prof.Dr. Su Dinh Thanh - President, Dr Bui Quang Hung - Vice President, Mr. Tran Anh Thanh Son - Deputy Head of Office in charge of the School Office - Head of the Organizing Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Duong - Head of Student Care and Support Department - Standing Deputy Chief, Assoc. Prof. Tran Ha Minh Quan - Dean of the International School of Business, Dr. Nguyen Thi Doan Tran - Deputy Head of Student Care and Support - Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee, Ms. Bui Mong Ngoc - Deputy Head of Training Department, Dr. Hoang Cuu Long - Deputy Head of International Business - Marketing Department, Ms. Nguyen Dinh Hoang Uyen - Secretary of the Youth Union, Mr. Tran Nhat Hoang - President of the Student Union and lecturers from faculties, training institutes and more than 1,000 students who are actors and cheerleaders attended.

Group results:

- First prize: International Training Institute with the program " Fire" and Institute of Tourism - Faculty of State Management with the program "Light Wave"       

- Second Prize: Faculty of Economics with the program " Vietnam - Hero of the country" and Faculty of Finance with the program " There is another planet"     

- Third Prize: Faculty of International Business - Marketing with the program "Fly" and Faculty of Accounting with the program "UEH - Unique Eternity Human".       

- Consolation Prize: Faculty of Management with the program " The perfect puzzle ", Faculty of Public Finance - Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics with the program " Find ", Faculty of Banking with the program " UEH - Journey to the future" .      

Moreover, the Organizing Committee awarded awards for 38 outstanding performances and a special award " 45 years of UEH Impression " for the program UEH - Unique Eternity Human of the Faculty of Accountancy.   

The Performing Arts Festival ended successfully and brought many meaningful and practical repertoire and programs to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the school's establishment, contributing to creating opportunities for exchange and cohesion between students in affiliates. school.
