07 Jun, 2026
On June 7, 2026, nearly 4,000 athletes gathered at Sala Urban Area (An Khanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) to participate in the UEH Run Half Marathon 2026 - Embracing Our Future, a race organized for the first time by the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) on the occasion of its 50th anniversary (1976-2026) -1.
Taking place over two days, June 6-7, 2026, the program included an Expo Day featuring exhibitions, experiential activities, UEH Alumni networking, business booths, and a talkshow on healthy lifestyles; and a Race Day featuring three distances: 5KM, 10KM, and 21KM. Symbolizing the heritage of Knowledge - People - Future, the distances helped recreate the 50-year journey of UEH through each resilient and emotional stride -10.
A meaningful highlight of the race was that all proceeds after expenses, along with contributions from businesses and runners, will be channeled into the Giving To UEH Program, aimed at providing scholarships for learners, developing facilities, supporting academic activities, and promoting sustainable development projects at UEH. Therefore, each step was not only an effort to surpass personal limits but also a practical action contributing to education and the community.
