[UEH 50] UEH Mekong Connects Education for a Sustainable Mekong through 2026 High School Principals' Conference

From April 16 to April 18, 2026, UEH Mekong, in coordination with the Vinh Long Department of Education and Training, successfully organized the 2026 High School Principals' Conference, attracting over 200 delegates. The event not only strengthened the connection between Higher Education and Secondary Education but also provided value from policy to practice, helping administrators proactively adapt in the context of educational innovation.

Attending the Conference, from the Ministry of Education and Training, was: Prof. Dr. Le Anh Vinh – Director of the Vietnam Institute of Educational Sciences. From the Vinh Long Department of Education and Training, attending were: Mr. Vo Van Be Hai and Mr. Vo Van Luyen – Deputy Directors. From UEH, attending were: Dr. Dinh Cong Khai – Vice President of UEH; Dr. Nguyen Thi Thy Lieu – Director of UEH Campus in Vinh Long (UEH Mekong); M.A. Ho Thien Quyen – Deputy Director of UEH Mekong; along with distinguished teachers who are leaders of Offices, Faculties, Centers, and Lecturers of UEH Mekong.

The Conference also saw the participation of over 200 delegates, including Principals, Vice Principals, Teachers who are Youth Union Secretaries, Admissions Officers, and Accountants from high schools in Vinh Long province.

Speaking at the program, on behalf of UEH Leadership, Dr. Dinh Cong Khai – Vice President of UEH affirmed: "This Conference is an activity concretizing the cooperation program between UEH and the Vinh Long Provincial People's Committee to connect knowledge and share resources to address practical issues. The Conference is evidence of a spirit of companionship - sharing - and co-creating new value. The program has contributed to creating a space for connection, promoting the sharing of governance experiences, and jointly creating new value for secondary education in the context of innovation. We believe that these exchanges will help teachers transform policies into concrete actions, bring innovation into school practice, and gradually build capacity for students in the digital era. The joint organization of this annual conference demonstrates UEH's sense of responsibility and mission, as well as the connection between higher and secondary education, working together to build an innovative, creative, and sustainably developed education ecosystem for the common goal of improving the region's education quality."

Mr. Vo Van Be Hai – Deputy Director of the Vinh Long Department of Education and Training emphasized: "The Conference provides many practical contents from admissions to governance training. UEH's companionship through practical training programs is a great source of motivation, helping school principals have sufficient information and improve their management capacity to enhance education quality."

The 2026 High School Principals' Conference - "Connecting Education for a Sustainable Mekong" officially concluded with many meaningful highlights, continuing to affirm the role of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City in the journey of building a sustainable education system for the Mekong Delta region, spreading the UEH spirit: Connecting Communities - Spreading Knowledge - Acting Sustainably.
