UEH Actively Supporting the Community to Celebrate Tet Together

With the efforts towards being socially responsible for the community for sustainable development, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) has participated in and contributed to programs supporting the poor and laborers with difficult circumstances to celebrate Tet together.

On January 21st, 2022, at University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) Nguyen Van Linh Campus, Phong Phu Ward, Binh Chanh District, “Xuan yeu thuong” Program took place by the Committee of Mobilization, Management and Use of “Vi nguoi ngheo” (for the poor) Fund with the joint organization of People’s Committee of Phong Phu Ward, Binh Chanh District. At the program, UEH financed 200 million VND (400 units of presents) for poor, closely-to-poor and difficult-circumstance families at Phong Phu Ward.

Besides, with a desire to bring happiness, sharing and supports to difficult-circumstance lecturers and laborers in Education and Training in the Tet program for the year of the Tiger 2022, Ministry of Education and Training, Vietnam Education Union, and VTV collaborated on organizing an online program with broadcast bridges around the country on January 26th, 2022 in which UEH shared its responsibility by hosting a broadcast bridge at HCMC. At the program, Minister Nguyen Kim Son sent his wishes for health and a safe year as well as reaching planned targets to all lecturers.

Lunar New Year of the Tiger 2022 was coming, with the affectional tradition, UEH tried to contribute to bringing a warm Tet for the poor and vulnerable people in society. In the past 45 years of development, with much progress in terms of academics, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) has always focused on taking social responsibilities for the community towards sustainable development.
