Overview of the signing ceremony at the headquarters of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee

Attending the signing ceremony on behalf of UEH were: Dr. Dinh Cong Khai – Vice President of UEH; Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh – Chairman of the Science and Training Council; along with leaders of UEH’s departments, faculties, and institutes.

Representing the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee were: Mr. Le Truong Son – Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai PPC; Mr. Nguyen Huu Dinh – Director of the Department of Home Affairs; together with leaders of provincial departments, agencies, and sectors, as well as representatives of the Dong Nai Farmers’ Association.

In his speech at the ceremony, Mr. Le Truong Son shared key achievements in Dong Nai’s socio-economic development in 2025. Building on the foundation of cooperation between the two parties in recent years, the provincial leadership expressed expectations that UEH’s long-standing history and extensive experience in policy consultancy would contribute to the formulation of more effective policies for Dong Nai, thereby creating new momentum for the province’s breakthrough development in the next phase.

In the spirit of solidarity, consensus, and mutual support, UEH and the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee agreed to implement several key areas of cooperation, including:

  • Coordinating research, consultancy, and policy recommendations on strategies, programs, and policies serving the objectives of rapid and sustainable growth, as well as enhancing governance capacity for Dong Nai in the new development phase;
  • Collaborating in education and training to develop high-quality human resources through undergraduate, postgraduate, and short-term training programs, with a focus on improving professional expertise, leadership, and policy-making capacity for officials, civil servants, public employees, workers, and enterprises, in alignment with practical needs and the province’s key development sectors;
  • Cooperating in scientific research, technology development, innovation, and digital transformation, focusing on priority development areas, whereby UEH will proactively propose research tasks, build expert networks, and support the startup ecosystem, contributing to improved governance efficiency and sustainable local development;
  • Collaborating in smart urban development, in which UEH will support the province in designing specific mechanisms for regional linkages in the Southeast region, with a focus on connectivity with Ho Chi Minh City and consultancy on inter-regional transport infrastructure development;
  • Jointly promoting international cooperation to mobilize resources for local and institutional development.

UEH and the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee sign the cooperation agreement for the 2026-2030 period

Through the signing of this cooperation agreement in line with the new context, UEH and the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee continue to strengthen their strategic partnership, maximizing the effective use of both parties’ resources in education, research, and policy consultancy. This collaboration further affirms UEH’s role as a multidisciplinary university with an action-oriented approach serving localities and the nation, as well as a trusted knowledge partner of Dong Nai in policy formulation, knowledge transfer, and the implementation of sustainable socio-economic development solutions.
