On February 24, 2026, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) and Inha University (South Korea) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), marking a significant milestone in UEH's internationalization strategy and expansion of its global academic partnership network.

Representing UEH were: Dr. Dinh Cong Khai – Vice President of UEH; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Phong Nguyen – Rector of UEH College of Business; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Khanh Nam – Head of the Department of Research – Development and Global Engagement, concurrently Dean of the Economy and Environment Partnership for Southeast Asia (EEPSEA); Dr. Nguyen Kim Duc – Acting Dean of the School of Economics, UEH College of Economics, Law and Government, concurrently Vice Director of the Institute for Regional Development Research and Consulting; and Dr. Hoang Thu Hang – Program Director of the Logistics and Supply Chain Management Program, School of International Business – Marketing.
Representing Inha University were: Prof. Hun Koo Ha – Dean of the Graduate School of Logistics and Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of International Logistics and Trade; Prof. Min-Young Park – President of the Logistics Scientists Association; and Prof. Jongchul Kim – Vice Director of the International Center, Graduate School of Logistics.
During the working session, both parties focused their discussions on opportunities to leverage the respective training and research strengths of UEH and Inha, share experiences in academic management, and develop highly practical cooperation programs aligned with the needs of businesses and local communities.
Sharing his perspective on the practical significance of the cooperation agreement, Dr. Dinh Cong Khai – Vice President of UEH – emphasized the strategic role of logistics in the economic development of the Southern region, particularly in the context of the establishment of the Cai Mep Ha Free Trade Zone and Long Thanh International Airport. He expressed expectations that the partnership between UEH and Inha University would enhance training quality, strengthen research capacity, and contribute policy solutions for sustainable development.

Representing the Inha University delegation, Prof. Hun-Koo Ha expressed his confidence that the combination of Inha's international expertise and UEH's local practical knowledge would yield training programs and research projects of tangible value, bringing benefits to students, faculty members, and the business communities of both countries.
