UEH Announces and Presents Personnel Appointment Decisions to Strengthen Governance and Academic Excellence

On June 1, 2026, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) held a ceremony to announce and present decisions on appointments to leadership positions, program directors of articulation programs, and heads of subject groups. These appointments contribute to strengthening the University’s management structure, enhancing operational effectiveness, and advancing academic excellence.

The announcement and appointment ceremony was attended by: Assoc. Prof. Bui Quang Hung – President of UEH; Prof. Nguyen Khac Quoc Bao – Vice President of UEH; Dr. Dinh Cong Khai – Vice President of UEH; Assoc. Prof. Phan Thi Bich Nguyet – Chairwoman of the UEH Alumni Executive Board; together with the leadership boards of UEH’s colleges, as well as leaders of administrative and academic units.

At the ceremony, UEH announced and presented appointment decisions for the following positions:

- Prof. Dr. Nguyen Khac Quoc Bao, Vice President of UEH, concurrently appointed as Director of UEH Publishing House until the completion of the official approval process for the appointment of the publisher’s leadership in accordance with regulations;

- Dr. Dinh Cong Khai, Vice President of UEH, concurrently appointed as Director of the Institute for Regional Development Research and Consulting;

- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Cam Trang, appointed Program Director of the Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) Articulation Program between the College of Business, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, and the School of Business, Economics and Law, The University of Queensland, Australia;

- Dr. Le Hoang Oanh, appointed Head of the Management Accounting Subject Group, School of Accounting, College of Business, UEH;

- Dr. Le Vu Ngoc Thanh, appointed Head of the Auditing Subject Group, School of Accounting, College of Business, UEH;

- Dr. Pham Tra Lam, appointed Head of the Accounting Information Systems Subject Group, School of Accounting, College of Business, UEH.

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Bui Quang Hung, President of UEH, congratulated the faculty members entrusted with new responsibilities and outlined key tasks and strategic directions for the coming period. He expressed confidence that the newly appointed leaders would continue to leverage their expertise, sense of responsibility, and leadership capabilities in management, teaching, and research, thereby contributing to the enhancement of their respective units and the University as a whole.
