UEH CEO Program Cohort 1 Graduation Ceremony: Building a Community of Resilient and Innovative Business Leaders

On May 9, 2026, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) organized the Graduation Ceremony for Cohort 1 of the Executive Training Program - UEH CEO Program, marking the completion of the first training course in UEH’s strategy to develop business leadership talent in alignment with Resolution 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo on promoting the strong development of Vietnam’s private economy.

The program was initiated by UEH to contribute to the training and development of CEOs, entrepreneurs, and managers in the new era who possess the capability to adapt, innovate, and lead enterprises amid digital transformation, international integration, and global competition.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Dinh Cong Khai - UEH Vice President, shared that Cohort 1 of the UEH CEO Program was launched in November 2025 with a practical orientation closely aligned with real business contexts, integrating theory with application, and aiming to comprehensively develop leadership capabilities through the integration of science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation.

Throughout the learning journey, participants not only gained access to modern management knowledge but also had opportunities to compare, validate, and directly apply these insights to their own business operations. As the first cohort of learners, their contributions, feedback, and practical experiences will serve as an important foundation for UEH to further improve the training model for future cohorts.

“Completing Cohort 1 is the foundation for participants to continue implementing the projects, restructuring initiatives, and strategic orientations developed throughout the program. UEH believes that the knowledge and thinking methodologies accumulated through the program will create practical value in real-world business management,” emphasized Dr. Dinh Cong Khai.

At the ceremony, UEH officially announced the completion decision and awarded certificates to participants who successfully completed the program. UEH also introduced the UEH CEO Program Alumni Liaison Committee for the 2026-2030 term under the UEH Alumni network.

Through the UEH CEO Alumni community, UEH expects future generations of participants to continue maintaining connections, sharing experiences, supporting one another, and growing together within UEH’s ecosystem of knowledge, innovation, and business connectivity.

The UEH CEO Program is one of UEH’s strategic initiatives aligned with Resolution 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo, aiming to train 10,000 executives during the 2025-2030 period. The program aspires to cultivate a generation of resilient, innovative, and globally integrated business leaders, contributing to strengthening competitiveness and sustainable development for Vietnam’s economy.
