After 5 successful seasons, UEH Golf Tournament - Swing for Future has affirmed its role as an annual event connecting the alumni and partners of the Board of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City Alumni Network (UEH Alumni), joining hands to fulfill social responsibilities and nurture knowledge for the younger generation. Continuing that meaning, UEH Golf Tournament - Swing for Future 2024 organized by UEH Alumni Golf Club took place on November 1, 2024 at Tan Son Nhat Golf Course, Ho Chi Minh City, contributing 850 million VND to the UEH Talent Nurturing Scholarship and supporting students who strive to study with have difficult circumstances at UEH.
This year's golf tournament attracted more than 120 golfers to participate with the support of 41 sponsoring organizations and individuals, including 04 Diamond Sponsors (TA ENGINEER, Nha Be Garment Corporation, An Phuoc Garment Embroidery Company Limited, Ho Chi Minh City IT Golf Club); 04 Silver Sponsors (Long Bien Investment Joint Stock Company - Tan Son Nhat Golf Course, TCC Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company, Golden Asia Media, Skyline Company); 08 Bronze Sponsors (Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank - Vietcombank, South Saigon Branch, ECCO Vietnam, Hoang Thong Wood Company, MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation, Phuong Nam Steel Company, Bao Viet Saigon Company, Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank - HDBank, Song Hanh Hung Vuong Company); 05 HIO Sponsors (Sao Mai Education Group, Seven Golf, Focus Group, DT24, Song Be Golf & Resort); and 23 co-sponsors.
The tournament was successful and creating a meaningful connection space between generations of UEH alumni and partners with exciting moments of competition in the spirit of dedication to a united and developing UEH alumni community. In addition, the tournament also brought attractive rewards to golfers with prizes for outstanding individuals and many gifts from sponsors to encourage the spirit and create a vibrant atmosphere for the tournament. The matches were also dramatic with impressive swings and an exciting competitive atmosphere.

The UEH Golf Tournament - Swing for Future 2024 is divided into 4 groups including the ABC group and the Women's group. In addition to the prize for the Champion, the 3 first, second and third prizes in the groups also have prizes for impressive techniques: Nearest to the Pin, Nearest to the Line and Longest Drive which all have found their owners.

With excellent performances, the Best Gross Award was officially awarded to golfer Nguyen Thi Xuan Thao.
The Organizing Committee also awarded the following technical prizes:
- Female's Group: First prize awarded to golfer Mai Nguyen
- Male's Group:
+ Group A: First place was achieved by golfer Ho Dai Minh; Second place was achieved by golfer Tran Thanh Nhan; Third place was achieved by golfer Tony Cuong.
+ Group B: First place was achieved by golfer Nguyen Cong Trang; Second place was achieved by golfer Sai Ba Cuong; Third place belongs to golfer Tran Van Huong.
+ Group C: First place was achieved by golfer Nguyen Ngoc Lan; Second place was achieved by golfer Nguyen Huy Thuan; Third place belongs to golfer Tran Trung Hieu.
- 04 Technical awards: The Nearest to the Pin award was awarded to golfers: Le Thuc Duc, and Huynh Tan Long; the Most accurate shot award was awarded to golfer Nguyen Binh An Tam; The Longest Drive was awarded to golfer Hoang Thi Ha.
The tournament also witnessed a beautiful swing shot from Golfer Gam Nguyen from a distance of nearly 140 yards on hole 7C at Tan Son Nhat course.

In particular, during the Gala Awards Night, an auction was held for the oil painting "Fishermen saluting the flag at the southernmost point of the country - Ca Mau Cape" by artist Le Sa Long, presented by Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh - Permanent Vice President of UEH Alumni Golf Club to raise funds for the UEH Talent Nurturing Scholarship. The auction was exciting and received enthusiastic responses from the participating golfers, with a starting price of 30 million VND. After many rounds of bidding, Mr. Le Thuc Dung - a former student of UEH Cohort 13 - successfully bid 250 million VND for the above painting.

To sum up, UEH Golf Tournament - Swing for Future 2024 ended successfully, raising a total of 850 million VND from sponsorship and auction sources to contribute to the UEH Talent Scholarship. The tournament is not only a sports playground but also a bridge for the community to join hands to create sustainable values, support the young generation to conquer knowledge and build the future. This is proof of UEH’s and its partners' and alumni’s attempts to fulfill social responsibilities and accompany a sustainable educational community.
