UEH Labor Union to host '2024 Social Insurance Law' report.

On April 11, 2025, in Hall B1-302, 279 Nguyen Tri Phuong Campus, District 10, the Labor Union of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) organized a specialized report session on 'Social Insurance Law 2024'. This is one of UEH Labor Union's key legal dissemination activities in 2025, aimed at raising awareness, updating new policies, and ensuring legitimate rights for employees.

Opening the session, Dr. Phan Thị Bảo Quyên - Vice President of the UEH Labor Union, emphasized the practical significance of the dissemination session, especially as Social Insurance Law No. 41/2024/QH15 is set to officially take effect from July 1, 2025. She also shared: 'We wish to accompany our lecturers, staff, and employees in accessing legal policies fully and accurately, thereby proactively protecting their rights and fulfilling their obligations.’

During the detailed presentation by reporter Nguyen Thi Hong Thao - Head of Social Insurance Policy Department, Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance, on the prominent new points of the 2024 Social Insurance Law, 248 attending officials and employees had the opportunity to gain a clearer understanding of regulations and policies related to retirement age, insurance benefit levels, participation conditions and expansion of beneficiaries, contribution and payment levels, and the rights and responsibilities of both employees and employers. The sharing session brought many significant values to the participants, helping to raise awareness about the role of social insurance policies in life and community welfare.
