On the occasion of the 49th anniversary of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) (October 27, 1976 – October 27, 2025), UEH officially launches its E-history Website at https://ehistory.ueh.edu.vn/ . This digital platform is designed to archive its history, preserve its development journey, and disseminate the University's traditional values. Furthermore, it promotes the development of an open academic space—a place where knowledge, creativity, and community are sustainably connected in the digital era.
Originating from the Digital Heritage Space at Campus A, the E-history website [https://ehistory.ueh.edu.vn/] has been developed to preserve the traditional values, historical milestones, and outstanding achievements of UEH throughout its different eras.
This is not only a "repository of memories" for generations of UEHers but also a place for the UEH community and the public to reflect on the persistent, creative, and service-oriented journey of a pioneering Vietnamese university in innovation, integration, and sustainable development. The website allows everyone, regardless of locations, to follow, learn about, and contribute information, helping UEH to continue completing the dynamic legacy of an innovative and sustainable university at the heart of the city.

On the website, visitors can explore videos, images, and documents vividly organized into specific categories:
+ UEH Leadership Through the Eras: Honoring the vision, direction, and impact of our leaders.
+ Achievements and Honors: Recognizing international rankings, awards, and contributions from collectives and individuals.
+ Organizational Structure and Associations: Introducing the governance model and socio-political organizations within UEH over the years.
+ Faculty and Staff: Providing an overview and highlighting exemplary individuals, embodying the "One UEH" spirit.
+ Key Activities: Showcasing highlights in training, scientific research, domestic and international cooperation, facility development, and the alumni network.
The website also integrates a "Feedback Portal" to encourage faculty members, alumni, and the UEH community to share, update, and supplement materials, contributing to a more complete "UEH picture" across all stages of development—from the past, through the present, and into the future.

The E-history website archives extensive information on UEH's traditions and history through the eras.
Not stopping at an online platform, UEH is continuing to bring its heritage and knowledge spaces to life through the "UEH Open Agora – Gateway of Knowledge: A Space for Dialogue with the Future" project. This open campus for the community is scheduled to launch at Campus A (59C Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Xuan Hoa Ward) in the near future.
This will be a complex that combines a heritage exhibition with an open knowledge space, where UEH's past, present, and future converge in harmony with the urban rhythm. Inspired by the "Agora"—the intellectual square of ancient Greece—the UEH Open Agora is positioned as a modern Learning Agora, where knowledge is openly exchanged, creativity is fostered, and the future is co-created. As part of the UEH City University Innovation Hub ecosystem, this project contributes to transforming UEH campuses into public academic-artistic-creative spaces that connect the community, businesses, and international partners, focusing on three main pillars:
+ Open Knowledge – Creating an "open" academic space: Disseminating UEH's Glo-cal research and training achievements through academic exhibitions, introducing new knowledge concepts (FinTech, Smart City, Sustainable Finance, etc.), and displaying specialized publications.
+ Open Mindset – Cultivating an "open" mindset: Organizing a series of Open Talks, dialogue forums, and in-depth workshops on innovation, technology, culture, and sustainability, creating networking opportunities for students, lecturers, businesses, and the community.
+ Open Experiences – "Open" experiences and connections: Bringing knowledge closer to the public through social-artistic-sustainable activities, such as green fairs, recycled art exhibitions, an English Zone, student stages, mini-concerts, and outdoor movie screenings.
Several academic exhibitions combining technology and art have already been held at UEH:

"From tradition to the future, from digital space to living space—UEH will continue its journey of building a university of knowledge, where every UEHer is a guardian, disseminator, and creator of sustainable values for the community," shared Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Quang Hung – UEH Executive Vice President.
With the E-history website and the UEH Open Agora project, UEH continues to realize its "Multidisciplinary & Sustainable" vision in the digital era. These two projects serve as a bridge between the past and the future, between knowledge and the community—where UEH preserves and digitizes its heritage while expanding its academic and creative spaces, affirming its position as a university of knowledge, innovation, and community service.
