UEH Organizing the Graduation Ceremony for Part-time Mode for the 2nd time in 2022 for 233 New Graduates

On the morning of April 16^th, 2022, at the auditorium B1.302, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) solemnly organized the Graduation Ceremony for part-time mode for the 2^nd time in 2022 for 223 new graduates.

The graduation ceremony stately welcomed Ph.D. Bui Quang Hung - Vice President of UEH, Ph.D. Nguyen Thien Duy - Head of Department of Continuing Education, lecturers who are leaders of UEH-affiliated Units and member Colleges, lecturers who participate in teaching/ scientifically managing at UEH, especially, the presence of 233 new graduates and their parents.

The overview of the ceremony

Delivering a speech at the ceremony, Ph.D. Bui Quang Hung - Vice President of UEH - recognized the constant efforts of new graduates and congratulated them: “Graduation Ceremony is a significant milestone in the life of each new graduate that recognizes your efforts, consistency, and determination during your study process at UEH. Particularly, we passed 2 years of the Covid-19 pandemic with thousands of complications and challenges not only in studies but also in our lives and work. On behalf of the leaders and lecturers of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, I once again warmly congratulate you on your today’s success and wish you earn further success in your life and work. University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City with a familiar name called UEH is a key public university with its name accredited and positioned reliably in the region. Recently, UEH has been ranked 298 among the best universities in Asia in terms of creativity and research and included in the world’s Top 500 for training programs in economics, therefore, you are able to be proud of graduating from a reputable university in Vietnam.”

In addition to that, he messaged that today’s achievements would be a foundation for new graduates to continue promoting and increasing responsibilities in the use of knowledge, competencies, and specialized skills that were trained in the study process at the university to apply to organizations, units, and corporates and to contribute practically to society. In this continuously developing era, all information and knowledge are updated unstoppably, he reminded new graduates to keep studying and fostering their specializations by participating in short-term courses or higher education training listed as Master and Doctoral programs. Simultaneously, he sent his sincere gratitude to the parents, friends, colleagues of organizations and units who supported and accompanied new students to obtain these results that day.

With the aim of honoring the efforts during the study process of new graduates, Ph.D. Nguyen Thien Duy - Head of Department of Continuing Education declared the Decision to Graduation and the Decision of Compliment of the President for 35 new graduates who graduated with distinction and 133 new good graduates.

In the Graduation Ceremony for part-time mode for the second time in 2022, UEH issued Degrees of Bachelor to 106 new Graduates in Accounting, 75 new Graduates in Management, 22 New Graduates in International Business & International Trade, 12 New Graduates in Finance, 12 New Graduates in Business Law, 06 New Graduates in Human Resources Management.

Graduation Ceremony is a crucial milestone in the education pathway opening a future developing journey for New Graduates with valuable baggage equipped by UEH. This was an event marking the success and reliability of UEH in providing high-quality human resources for the demand of the domestic and international labor market.
