On July 9, 2025, the iTECH EXPO 2025 technology exhibition officially opened at the Sky Expo Vietnam International Exhibition and Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City. The event features more than 150 technology booths from both domestic and international organizations, taking place over three days from July 9 to 11, 2025. As one of the most prestigious and large-scale annual technology exhibitions, iTECH EXPO draws significant attention from leading experts, businesses, researchers, and educational institutions. The exhibition serves as a platform to explore cutting-edge technology trends and fosters an environment for academic exchange and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Attending the Opening Ceremony and visiting the technology booths at iTECH EXPO 2025 were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Quang Hung – Vice President of UEH; MSc. Le Thi Hanh An – Deputy Head of the Department of Communications and Partnership Development at UEH; and MSc. Dao Thi Minh Huyen – Acting Deputy Chief of Office in charge of the Office of the UEH College of Technology and Design (CTD).

At this year’s iTECH EXPO event, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) is represented by the UEH College of Technology and Design (CTD) and the UEH Green Campus Project Executive Board, in collaboration with the UEH Innovation and Incubation Center (ISC). Together, they are participating in the exhibition with a booth themed “Innovative Interaction Technologies”—a space showcasing advanced interactive technology solutions that harmoniously integrate digital art and practical applications for the benefit of the community. The exhibition officially takes place from July 9 to July 11, 2025, at the Sky Expo Vietnam International Exhibition and Convention Center, Trung My Tay Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.

With the aim of addressing real-life needs and contributing to the creation of sustainable values for society—while simultaneously raising awareness and promoting a sense of community responsibility in building green and safe urban environments alongside sustainable economic development—the UEH booth showcased a range of technological products integrated with art, developed by UEH. These included:

+ The interactive digital art pieces Interactive Fluid Simulation and Nocturnal Bloom;

+ The virtual reality-based traffic safety education model Route to School;

+ The Night Economy platform aligned with sustainable urban development;

+ The smart waste-sorting robot Zeen AI Bot;

+ The Zeen AI Scan application for enhancing environmental awareness;

+ Interactive educational games developed under the UEH Green Campus project;

+ A digital transformation consulting booth for local authorities, featuring a co-creation platform model for smart urban development.

These products and initiatives exemplify the practical role of education in inspiring communities, transferring knowledge, and raising awareness about the importance of creativity in addressing social challenges. Through such efforts, UEH actively contributes to the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The Zeen AI Bot smart waste-sorting robot and the Zeen AI Scan application for enhancing environmental awareness are initiatives developed under the UEH Green Campus project

The Route to School (R2S) virtual reality-based traffic safety education model was developed as part of a research project by the Institute of Smart City and Management (ISCM), under the UEH College of Technology and Design (CTD). This initiative aims to equip younger generations with essential knowledge while fostering a healthy and safe environment for their development
