Opening up cooperation potential in logistics, transportation, and supply chains

According to UEH, the next phase opens up significant cooperation potential in transportation, logistics, and supply chains. These are not only important drivers of economic growth, but also the foundation for building urban systems that are better connected, more adaptive, and more resilient.

This orientation is also aligned with the forum’s content, which focuses on cooperation opportunities in import and export, business connectivity, logistics, seaports, and supply chains between Ho Chi Minh City and Oregon State. Through this, both sides gain a stronger basis to promote cooperation directions aligned with the practical development needs of each locality, while also expanding collaborative space in the context of sustainable economic and urban development.

Accompanying through knowledge, data, and multilateral connection

Also at the event, UEH shared that the University has been and is currently working with relevant stakeholders in Vietnam on policy-oriented research, data-driven planning, and pilot initiatives aimed at improving urban logistics, regional connectivity, and a sustainable supply chain ecosystem. From this practice, UEH believes that experiences, initiatives, and practices from Oregon State - especially in green logistics, integrated multimodal transport, and regional coordination - can provide additional valuable perspectives for ongoing efforts.

Not only limited to research and dialogue, future cooperation opportunities may also expand to joint experimentation, capacity building, and co-development of practical models suited to the context of both sides.

Through the participation in the forum, UEH continues to demonstrate the proactive role of a university that connects academia with practice, ready to engage in knowledge networking, promote expert exchange, develop human resources, and expand multilateral cooperation. In doing so, UEH contributes to nurturing the long-term partnership between Ho Chi Minh City and Oregon State in an effective, socially responsible, and sustainable way./.
