The University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) has released the results of its 2025 internship and graduate employment survey, revealing that 97% of students are employed within one year of graduation. This outcome continues to affirm the quality of UEH's training and the career adaptability of its students in a volatile labor market.
Innovating the survey process with comprehensive data coverage
In 2025, UEH comprehensively redesigned its graduate employment survey process to strengthen connections with alumni, support career orientation, and provide post-graduation job placement assistance, while also creating a reliable database for continuous quality improvement. The survey was administered to all full-time undergraduate students who had graduated within the last 12 months, combining online questionnaires with phone verification to enhance accuracy and response rates.
As a result, 90% of graduates (4,445 out of 4,951 students) participated in the survey, providing a crucial data source for governance, curriculum improvement, and human resource strategy at UEH in the new phase.
This approach aligns with UEH's consistent orientation: data-driven, evidence-based, and impact-focused university governance, with graduate outcomes as the central measure of success.
97% of graduates employed within one year
The 2025 survey results show that 97% of graduates found employment within one year, with 90% working in roles directly or closely related to their training major/specialization.
These figures demonstrate the clear effectiveness of UEH's unwavering commitment to enhancing training quality, from improving input quality and faculty development to innovating teaching methods and strengthening learner support systems.
Notably, the improving rate of students working in their trained field indicates that UEH's training programs are increasingly aligning with the practical demands of the labor market, helping students build solid professional competencies and a foundation for long-term sustainable career development.

30% of graduates work for international enterprises
The employment structure of the 2025 graduating class reveals that 30% work for enterprises with foreign elements, reflecting the increasingly strong integration capabilities of UEH learners. This result is closely linked to UEH's proactive and focused internationalization strategy.
Accordingly, UEH has prioritized the accreditation and benchmarking of its training programs against international standards, expanded its partial and full English-taught programs, and developed partnerships with strategic international allies according to clear roadmaps and priorities.
Internationalization at UEH is not limited to increasing the number of global-oriented training programs or expanding academic exchange and linkage activities. It aims to enhance graduate competency standards, enabling students to work effectively in multicultural, multinational environments and adapt to the global labor market immediately after graduation.

Employment Distribution of 2025 Graduates by Economic Sector
69% of students employed before receiving their diplomas
The 2025 survey indicates that 69% of UEH students secured a job before receiving their degrees, and 12% found employment within one month of graduation, and only about 2% took over six months to secure employment.
This is a result of UEH's long-standing commitment to practice-oriented and experiential learning, which will be further strengthened in the 2025-2030 period. By increasing case-based, project-based, and problem-based learning, inviting industry experts, managers, and entrepreneurs to co-teach and course review, and expanding practical semesters, internships, and project-based learning in collaboration with businesses and localities.
Consequently, UEH students not only accumulate theoretical knowledge but also become familiar early with work environments, processes, and professional requirements, significantly shortening the transition time from academia to the labor market.

Time to Employment for UEH Graduates
A positive learning experience: The foundation for sustainable career quality
In addition to the high employment rate, the 2025 survey also recorded positive indicators regarding job quality and student satisfaction. Specifically, 72% of graduates earn over 9 million VND per month, and 78% are satisfied with their current job.
In terms of the training process, 93.4% of students expressed satisfaction with their learning experience at UEH, and 95.6% were satisfied with the learning environment and culture. These figures show a strong correlation between a positive learning experience and post-graduation employment quality.
The survey results clearly reflect UEH's consistent orientation of being learner-centered, prioritizing the enhancement of the learning experience quality. This contributes to the comprehensive development of professional competencies, skills, mindset, and professional values, laying the foundation for students' long-term sustainable development.

Satisfaction with the Learning Experience at UEH
90% of enterprises rate UEH interns as 'Very good' or 'Excellent'
In parallel with the graduate employment survey, in 2025 UEH also conducted a comprehensive, mandatory, and synchronized survey of enterprises on the quality of students participating in the internship and graduation project courses. Accordingly, 100% of interning students and 100% of hosting enterprises participated in the survey via UEH's Internship and Graduation Management System.
'The results showed that 90% of enterprises rated UEH interns as 'Very good' or 'Excellent' (levels 4 and 5 on a 5-point scale), with nearly 60% rating them as 'Excellent'. The criteria most highly valued by enterprises included professional conduct and attitude, work efficiency and time management, and communication and teamwork skills, indicating that UEH students possess professional awareness, a sense of responsibility, and good adaptability to corporate environments.
Notably, 98% of surveyed enterprises stated they would be willing to hire UEH students after graduation, demonstrating that internships are not just a mandatory academic activity but also a direct channel connecting students to the labor market, significantly contributing to the 97% employment rate within one year of graduation.
The 2025 Internship and Graduate Employment Survey results serve as a crucial foundation for UEH to continue reviewing, adjusting, and enhancing input quality; perfecting training programs according to output standards; and intensifying internationalization oriented towards benchmarking with top global universities and closely aligning with the practical needs of the labor market. Based on this, UEH will continue expanding experiential learning models and strengthening connections with businesses and localities to enhance learners' professional competencies and adaptability.
The public announcement of these survey results not only demonstrates a commitment to transparency but also reaffirms UEH's long-term development orientation in training high-quality human resources with integration capacity and the ability to create sustainable value for society.
