UEH reviewing and supplementing planning for leadership and management positions for the 2020 - 2025 and 2025 - 2030 terms

University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) has been reviewing and supplementing planning for leadership and management positions for the 2020 - 2025 and 2025 - 2030 terms from UEH units to leadership. The task has been implemented according to regulations of central agencies and instructions from the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET).

Seeking and fostering qualified, competent, and reliable leadership and management staff is of great importance in the process of building and developing UEH. In implementing this task, UEH has issued Plan No. 34-KH/DU to review all leadership and management positions for the 2020 - 2025 term and especially the 2025-2030 term.

On the morning of April 9, 2024, key conferences were held in turn, including UEH Key Officials Conference; Expanded UEH Leadership Collective Conference; and the UEH Leadership Collective Conference to carry out the process of introducing additional personnel to the planning of UEH leadership positions for the 2025-2030 term from on-site human resources.

Speaking at the UEH Key Officials Conference, Prof.Dr. Nguyen Dong Phong - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council - emphasized: "In 2023, UEH has officially been decided by the Government to transition into a University and become one of the 7 Multidisciplinary Universities in Vietnam. UEH has been in the process of implementing a restructuring project into a multidisciplinary University and it is expected to be completed in June 2025. Today's conference is to take next steps in the process of supplementing the planning of UEH leadership staff for the 2025 - 2030 term as a source of on-site planning staff for the UEH development strategy in the upcoming time."

At the same time, UEH has deployed Plan No. 34-KH/DU to all units, officials, and employees to carry out procedures for introducing and supplementing planning for management positions at units under UEH and member schools and Vinh Long Campus for the term 2025 - 2030; and preparing to implement the process of introducing additional planning for the position of Deputy Head for the 2020 - 2025 term from other units under UEH, ensuring the completion of planning work in May 2024.
