UEH Student with Grand First Prize at the "Spell in a Nutshell 2025" English Competition

The University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) proudly celebrates the outstanding achievement of Nguyen Minh Huy, a student of the School of Foreign Languages, who won the Grand First Prize at the "Spell in a Nutshell 2025" Inter-University English Competition.

"Spell in a Nutshell" is recognized as one of the most prestigious academic English competitions in Ho Chi Minh City, attracting more than 400 top-performing English-major students from more than 40 universities in Ho Chi Minh City and other neighboring provinces. The competition provides a dynamic platform for students to validate their language competencies while showcasing their intellectual prowess, confidence, and critical thinking skills in a highly competitive and professional environment.

After successfully surpassing multiple challenging rounds and demonstrating exceptional linguistic mastery and strategic thinking, Nguyen Minh Huy emerged victorious in the Grand Final, held on April 26, 2025, at the Hall B of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education. The event was marked by vibrant competition and high academic standards, witnessing the convergence of the city’s most talented English-major students.

Nguyen Minh Huy’s performance captivated both the jury and the audience, combining excellent spelling abilities, coherent articulation, and a poised public speaking style. His victory earned him the prestigious Grand First Prize, accompanied by a scholarship award of 55,000,000 VND.
