Under the leadership of the UEH Youth Union – UEH Student Association, the 2025 UEH Student Volunteering Campaign – Phase 1: Green Summer continues to affirm the pioneering spirit and dedication of UEH youth. In response to the Peak Day of Action “Volunteering Together for New Rural Development,” the Vinh Long campaign front simultaneously launched 13 key community projects, delivering significant value to the local area with a total budget of 827 million VND.

In response to the Peak Day of Action “Volunteering Together for New Rural Development,” the key initiatives of the 2025 UEH Student Volunteering Campaign have been successively launched. These include two “Rural Road Construction” projects and eight youth-led “Lighting Up Rural Roads” projects, with a total length of 10,850 meters and 304 installed light poles. These efforts significantly contribute to improving local living standards, revitalizing the rural landscape, and creating optimal conditions for socio-economic development in the region.

The campaign also took a proactive approach in identifying and promptly addressing urgent local needs by flexibly implementing a variety of social welfare projects. Notably, it included the construction of a “Sheltered Playground for Children” at Cai Nhum Kindergarten. Volunteer teams also contributed to the installation of a “Water Purifier” at Chanh An A Primary School, the development of five “Recycled Playground Models,” and the provision of additional “Household Waste Bins.” In addition, the campaign carried out a “Renovation of a Gratitude House” in Tan Long Hoi Commune. These projects not only enhanced the local infrastructure and revitalized the community’s landscape but also embodied the compassionate lifestyle, spirit of sharing, and sense of social responsibility of UEH youth.

With a spirit of enthusiasm, pioneering, and readiness to serve, UEH Green Summer volunteers immediately embarked on their work following the groundbreaking ceremonies. Their dedication has become a powerful source of inspiration in the collective effort to build a more prosperous, civilized, and compassionate homeland. Every task and project has been carried out with the highest sense of responsibility, showcasing the determination and wholehearted dedication of UEH youth.

In addition, UEH volunteers are actively carrying out key projects in Cai Nhum Commune. With a total budget of 315 million VND allocated for the construction and expansion of rural roads, and 75 million VND dedicated to the installation of solar-powered lighting systems, these initiatives are expected to be completed and put into operation by July 19. They promise to bring practical and sustainable benefits to the local community.
