UEH Union organizing a session disseminating policies, training and fostering regimes for officials and employees

On the morning of October 6, 2023, UEH Union coordinated with the Department of Human Resources Management to organize a session disseminating policies, training and fostering regimes for officials and employees.

Attending the program, on behalf of the UEH Union, there was the presence of Dr. Nguyen Thien Duy - Chairman of UEH Union, Dr. Phan Thi Bao Quyen - Vice President of UEH Union, MSc. Phan Thi Thu Hang - Standing member of UEH Union. On the side ò Vinh Long Campus Union, there was the participation of MSc. Ho Thien Quyen - Deputy Director and Chairman of Vinh Long Campus Union and nearly 300 officials and employees attending in person at Room A103 of the Main Campus and online in Vinh Long Campus.

The dissemination session was organized to create an opportunity for UEH union members, officials, and employees to properly understand policies, regimes, and regulations in training and fostering at UEH. The specific target audience of the dissemination session was UEH lecturers who have not yet studied for graduate studies; officials and managers who have not yet completed a master's degree; Personnel in charge of training and fostering at the Vinh Long Campus and personnel of General Departments of UEH Colleges along with union members who were UEH officials and employees of institutes and centers.

Speaking at the opening of the program, Dr. Nguyen Thien Duy emphasized "One of the five key tasks of the Union is the task of propagating and encouraging union members and employees to implement the Party's policies and guidelines, and the government's legal policies. Therefore, the UEH Union organizes a session to disseminate policies, training and fostering regimes for UEHers with the hope that UEH union members will correctly and fully understand the policies, regimes and regulations in training, thereby planning and preparing themselves to improve their qualifications, contributing to turning UEH into a multidisciplinary university with academic reputation and sustainable action in Asia by 2030”.

Mr. Duong Minh Man - Deputy Head of the Department of Human Resource Management - presented and answered specific questions regarding important content including (1) Regimes and policies for training and retraining (domestically and internationally); (2) Application of restrictions and sanctions to improve English proficiency and standards; (3) Notes on the Government's Project 89; (4) Plan to organize training courses for officials and employees in 2023; at the same time, answer many related questions of UEH officials and employees.

The policy and regime dissemination session ended successfully, with the attention of a large number of UEH officials and employees. This was an activity in a series aimed at celebrating the 47th Anniversary of the establishment of the University of Economics of Ho Chi Minh City (October 27, 1976 - October 27, 2023).
