UEH Vinh Long Campus Campus Welcoming approximately 600 New Full-time Students (Batch 50) - Starting the Journey of Sustainable Career Development towards an Infinite Future

With the training motto "Studying at Vinh Long with UEH quality and degree, being ready for international integration", UEH Vinh Long Campus (KSV) has been the choice of many candidates across the country. This is not only the place to make the dream of becoming a student of a prestigious and quality university come true, but also the start for the journey to reach out to the world and act for sustainable development towards an infinite future.

After nearly 5 years of operation since its establishment, in order to train high-quality human resources to contribute to the sustainable development of the Mekong Delta region, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) has deployed at Vinh Long Campus from 06 programs (in 2020) to 15 programs (in 2024) with multidisciplinary orientation listed as Business and Management, Engineering Technology, Tourism, Hospitality, Law, Computer and Information Technology and so on. Up to the present time, the student population at Vinh Long Campus has reached 3,000 students, of which nearly 2,300 are full-time and part-time students, 667 graduate students and more than 6,000 students of annual short-term intensive training courses.

In 2024, Vinh Long Campus welcomed the new cohort with nearly 600 new students from 15 programs. From August 21 to 27, 2024, UEH Vinh Long Campus organized the admission application for successful candidates and continued to give the last ticket to candidates who missed the opportunity to become UEH students. UEH organized additional admission until September 27, 2024 for some programs as follows: Agricultural Business, Tax, Technology and Innovation, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, English Language (Business English), Hotel Management (See details here).

With a modern learning environment and sustainable development orientation, UEH Vinh Long Campus Campus has attracted the attention of new students from all over the country, including Quang Binh, Khanh Hoa, Gia Lai, Binh Thuan, Da Nang, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc and more and candidates from all 13 Provinces and Cities in the Mekong Delta Region.

Joining the national atmosphere of welcoming the new academic year, from August 21 to 27, 2024, University of Economics HCMC began to welcome new K50 full-time students to complete their admission procedures, officially joining the generation of Global Students - Sustainable Action. Many new students and parents were present at UEH - Vinh Long to begin the admission procedures. The atmosphere became more bustling than usual with the joy, happiness and pride of the new students when they officially became members of the UEH family, along with the happy and worried faces of the parents when they brought their children to school.

Nguyen Thanh Tin - a new student majoring in E-commerce - excitedly shared: “My first impression of UEH Vinh Long Campus is that the facilities are completely beautiful and modern with lots of trees. In particular, I met lecturers and senior students who were absolutely friendly with bright smiles, who always enthusiastically supported me. Being introduced by friends, as well as knowing the reputation of UEH for a long time, I confidently chose UEH Vinh Long Campus as a place to study with a more economical tuition fee compared to studying at the Ho Chi Minh City campus, and also being able to rotate to study in Ho Chi Minh City in my final year. I am ready to study at UEH Vinh Long Campus and hope that in the upcoming study period, I will not only master professional knowledge but also develop myself through team building activities to expand my friend network, and practice important soft skills for the future"

Huynh Ho Thi Ngoc Han - a new student majoring in Business Accounting shared: "I am very happy to meet the teachers who are very friendly and sociable when I come to do the admission procedures today. I have followed and learned about UEH Vinh Long Campus for a long time. I have connected with the seniors of K47 and 48 and know that the teachers are very enthusiastic in teaching; at the same time, the school has spacious facilities and modern equipment to serve the learning very well. Therefore, I decided to choose to study at UEH Vinh Long Campus. I also really like the Youth Union and used to be a Youth Union officer. I hope I will continue these activities in the upcoming dynamic university environment".

Dang Thi Kim Thanh - a new student of International Business shared: “The first time I came to school, I was a bit nervous but very happy to become a new student of UEH Vinh Long Campus. I learned about the school through the admissions consulting program. I researched and chose to apply to UEH Vinh Long Campus because it is close to my home, has the major I love, and its facilities are very good. I hope that the upcoming study journey will bring many interesting memories for me.”

Vibrant first-year activities for freshmen of Batch 50: Welcoming a new generation of students ready to become Global Students - Sustainable actions, towards an infinite future

In order to help freshmen understand the regulations on training, scientific research, living, and access to the support system and services at UEH Vinh Long Campus, as well as quickly integrate into the university environment, UEH organized an online first-year orientation program from September 4 to 6, 2024. The orientation activities include practical content for freshmen at the beginning of the course such as: thematic reports on “Green University Practice at UEH”, “Civil Awareness” and necessary soft skills for students.

Continuing the journey of the first days of becoming UEH-ers, on September 9, 2024, the leaders of Schools, Centers, Departments and academic advisors had a joyful and memorable meeting with the new K50 students at UEH Vinh Long Campus. The teachers enthusiastically shared and advised majors to give them more motivation and advice for the new students to plan their study journey at UEH. The teachers hope that new students will be confident, quickly integrate and become a generation of creative "Global Students - Sustainable Action", contributing to the development of UEH in Vinh Long.

On September 10, 2024, the 50^th freshmen started their first class, marking an important milestone in their study journey at UEH Vinh Long Campus. In an exciting atmosphere, they met lecturers, made new friends, and experienced a modern learning environment. The first class not only brought new knowledge opportunities but also created a foundation for students to build relationships, to connect passions, and to prepare for the future.

Carrying out the mission of being a training unit of UEH in the Mekong Delta, with the motto "One brand - One degree - One quality", UEH opens up the last chance for 2K6 students to become UEHers. The last tickets in the additional admission round 2024 for full-time study (coded KSV) are waiting for them to get to the common home of UEH. To help new students get acquainted and integrate into the journey to knowledge as well as experience the facilities, new students will have many activities following the series of orientation activities at the beginning of the course, as well as activities to welcome new students that are attractive and meaningful, certainly that will be a special mark when becoming a UEHer.
