Dr. Tran Quoc Hung

Nonresident Senior Fellow, GeoEconomics Center - Atlantic Council (Washington D.C., USA)

Dr. Tran Quoc Hung is currently a Nonresident Senior Fellow at the GeoEconomics Center of the Atlantic Council, Washington, D.C., USA, former Executive Managing Director, Institute of International Finance (IIF), and former Deputy Director, International Monetary Fund (IMF). With extensive experience in global economics, international finance, and capital markets, he has authored numerous policy papers and research publications and regularly appears in international media as a commentator on these topics.
For over two decades, he has held executive and strategic advisory roles at leading global financial institutions, including Deutsche Bank, Rabobank, Merrill Lynch, and Salomon Brothers, across offices in New York, Frankfurt, Singapore, and London. During this period, he also served as a member of the Economic Advisory Council to the former Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan is the Co-Founder and CEO of Connext Technologies and an expert in technology and healthcare. With more than 15 years of experience in entrepreneurship, digital transformation, product innovation, and academic research, his work focuses on preventive healthcare technologies and AI-powered healthcare platforms. Drawing on his technical expertise and technology leadership experience, he has led multidisciplinary teams and developed technology solutions designed to deliver practical impact.
He holds an MBA from Cornell University and a PhD in Networks and Distributed Systems from the University of Oslo, Norway. His research has been published and presented at major international conferences, including IEEE INFOCOM, IEEE ICC, and IEEE CCNC. Beyond academic research, he actively promotes university–industry collaboration, technology product development, and digital transformation initiatives across the technology and healthcare sectors.

Dr. Duong Van Thinh

Head, AIDC - AI & Data Center Institute

Dr. Duong Van Thinh is Head of AIDC – AI & Data Center Institute and an expert in artificial intelligence, data center infrastructure, and enterprise technology, with expertise spanning Deep Learning, AI-driven digital transformation, data analytics, cloud computing, and cybersecurity. He also conducts research on AI and data centers at AdoptoMedia, where the focus is on developing intelligent and scalable digital systems for next-generation AI applications.
Over a career spanning more than two decades, he has held various technology management and executive positions at international corporations including KONE (Finland), ABB (Switzerland), Schneider Electric, Microsoft Vietnam, HP, and IBM, gaining extensive experience in digital transformation, AI, cloud computing, and enterprise technology infrastructure. He holds a PhD in AI Data Center Infrastructure from Ascencia Business School, College de Paris, France. He is also the author of publications on AI and digital transformation, including AI Agents for Digital Transformation and Data Center for Kids, and is actively involved in research, consulting, and teaching.

Dr. Vu Duy Thuc

Senior Director of Software Engineering, NVIDIA

Thuc Vu is Senior Director of Software Engineering at NVIDIA, where his team develops and optimizes AI models and tools that enable Sovereign AI across domains including smart factory, smart space, and smart city. The team has built state-of-the-art models spanning vision-language, sovereign LLMs, ASR, and TTS. Previously, Thuc was co-founder and CEO of OhmniLabs, a Silicon Valley robotics company transforming healthcare delivery through telepresence and autonomous robots. Its solutions were adopted by leading U.S. health systems, including the Department of Veterans Affairs and HCA Healthcare, and scaled through national partnerships with Premier and Sodexo. OhmniLabs was acquired in 2024 by Symbotic, one of the world's largest and fastest-growing robotics firms.

Earlier, Thuc co-founded Katango and Tappy, acquired by Google and Play.co, respectively. He is also a Venture Partner at Do Ventures, investing in and advising early-stage founders across Southeast Asia. Committed to building Vietnam's technology ecosystem, he co-founded VietSeeds in 2011 and VietAI in 2018 to expand access to education and AI. Thuc holds a PhD in Computer Science from Stanford University, specializing in artificial intelligence and algorithms. He was named to the Silicon Valley Business Journal's "40 Under 40" for his contributions to technology and community.

Mr. Pham Nguyen Tri
Chairman, VNexus Capital Advisors (VNCA), Vietnam

Tri Pham is currently Chairman of Vnexus Capital Advisors (VNCA). Prior to VNCA, Mr. Pham served as Vice Chairman of Bitexco Group (2014-2017), a leading Vietnamese conglomerate in real estate and energy. Previously, Mr. Pham was Chief Country Officer and General Manager for Deutsche Bank Vietnam (2007-2014). Before his return to Vietnam in 2007, he had a distinguished 26-year career at the World Bank and IFC (1981-2007), Washington, DC. In the 90s, he launched internationally awarded World Bank deals in Europe, raising billions of dollars of funding for projects in developing countries, including Vietnam.

During the past 19 years in Vietnam, Mr. Pham has provided strategic advice to government authorities and to both foreign and local businesses, and has served as Chairman, Independent Board Member, and Regional Advisor for a wide range of funds, companies, and institutions in different sectors.

Assoc.Prof. Pham Khanh Nam
Head, Department of Research - Development and Global Engagement, UEH, Vietnam

Assoc. Prof. Pham Khanh Nam is Head of Research - Development and Global Engagement, Director of the Economy and Environment Partnership for Southeast Asia, and Director of the Environment for Development Center in Vietnam. An environmental economist, he has worked in environmental and climate economics, health economics, and behavioral economics, with contributions to international research and Vietnam's environmental policy design.
At UEH, he has held senior roles including former Rector of the College of Economics, Law and Government and Dean of the School of Economics, while actively building capacity and regional research networks across Southeast Asia. He currently serves on the UN High-Level Expert Group on Beyond GDP, established by the UN Secretary-General to develop global frameworks for measuring economic and social progress.
