University Day Series: ArtCamp and Mind Maps Exhibition - Art towards Sustainability

As the opening for the "University Day" series to welcome the multidisciplinary and sustainable journey of UEH University, the exhibition of ArtCamp and Mind Maps has recreated a creative art space, thereby conveying the message "Sustainable living and development" to the UEHer community.

The Multidisciplinary and Sustainable UEH University journey focuses on training future generations with good expertise, environmental awareness, ethics and social responsibility. Therefore, spreading the inspiration of "Living and developing a sustainable society" has become an activity incorporated in all programs at UEH University.

Opening the series to welcome UEH Multidisciplinary and Sustainable University - "University Day", the exhibition of ArtCamp and Mind Maps officially took place in Hall B1 - UEH (Campus). 279 Nguyen Tri Phuong, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City) from November 6 to 15, 2023, and at Hall A (59C Nguyen Dinh Chieu Facility, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City) from November 16 to 18/ 2023. Right from the first days, the exhibition engaged the interest of many UEH students!

Outstanding works of ArtCamp - Sustainable lifestyle in the community

In 2022, UEH and Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association jointly organized the ArtCamp photography competition with the theme "Sustainable lifestyle in the community" attracting the participation of many photographers and art lovers. Through the contest, excellent works of art with many valuable meanings were born like Smart life and modern society; Sustainable lifestyle aiming to protect the environment, civilized society, prosperous community, and economic development; Humans as the center of digital life; Global citizen - sustainable action - community benefits; Leading change and inspiring arts; From a clean campus to a green university, etc. This is the perfect combination of art and environmental protection awareness, contributing to inspiring a sustainable lifestyle in the community.

To further reach these values, UEH recreated an exhibition space with 25 excellent award-winning works of ArtCamp 2022 within the framework of the "University Day". This is an opportunity for the UEHer community, especially generations of students, to admire and to nurture artistic emotions, thereby building humanistic strength and aiming for sustainable development.

Mind Maps - Heading to the future

To prepare for the Multidisciplinary and Sustainable University journey, in November 2022, more than 800 UEH officials came together to think, discuss, and present meaningful, creative, and practical solutions on the mind map within the framework of the UEH Day 2022.

Since then, strategic value maps have been born, expressing ideas and initiatives to develop programs, policies, training products, research, management, operations, and community connection, and contributing to UEH's development strategy in the Multidisciplinary and Sustainable University journey.

For each learner, employee and UEHer community to understand and to grasp the steps in the near future, the 24 mindmaps were officially exhibited in the University Day series. The topics presented were Global citizenship linked to practice; International quality assurance; Effective use of finances; Friendly and professional electronic office; Learners as central customers; Attracting high-quality human resources; Technology - Multimedia communication; Internationalization and academic reputation; Multidisciplinary and linked to practice, etc.

Students learning the future development strategies through the mind maps exhibition

Through the ArtCamp and Mind Maps exhibition, UEH hopes to spread the cultural and artistic values and strategic directions of the University in the near future to generations of students and UEH officials, to work together to create a pioneering community, to join hands to contribute to the community and to aim for sustainable development.
