University Day Series: Mindmap Design Contest for "Multidisciplinary and Sustainable UEH" - UEH Students Are Ready for a New Journey

As part of the "University Day" series to welcome the new journey of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), the Mindmap Design Contest with the theme "Multidisciplinary and Sustainable UEH" brought a new, healthy, creative and intellectual playground for UEH students. After 7 days of implementation, the contest received a large number of responses from students and the participation of more than 630 students with 157 mindmap designed and submitted products.

With the desire to stimulate thinking, to explore potential; concurrently, promoting the spirit of solidarity and attachment in the student community of University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, together towards the journey of a Multidisciplinary and Sustainable University, the Mindmap Design Contest with the theme "Multidisciplinary and sustainable UEH" was officially organized and received a great response from a large number of UEH students. The contest helped students understand UEH's Multidisciplinary and Sustainable University Orientation and enhance the spirit of honoring the values created over the past 48 years, the multidisciplinary development strategies, and sustainable actions in the future of the school. Grounding on this, students will have a more practical view to determine their future goals and prepare for themselves towards becoming a global citizen.

From November 3 - November 9, 2023, through rounds 1, preliminary round 1 and preliminary round 2, the Organizing Committee selected 12 best products out of 157 competing products to enter the Initiative Presentation round.

In the Initiative Presentation round, contestants had the opportunity to present and demonstrate the content of the product and honor the value of UEH Multidisciplinary and Sustainable University as well as contributions to the future development journey of UEH.

Through the evaluation and comments of the judges, who were Dr. Do Kien Trung - Lecturer at the School of Government; Comrade Nguyen Thi Thuong Nho - Permanent Deputy Secretary of the UEH Youth Union; MSc. Mai Nguyen Dung - Member of the Standing Committee of the UEH Youth Union, Lecturer of the UEH School of Law, Top 10 outstanding teams along with the 3 highest positions were excellently revealed. This was a testament to UEH students' outstanding development in thinking as well as their understanding of the University's development orientation.

It can be affirmed that the mindmap design contest "Multidisciplinary and sustainable UEH" not only created a healthy and rewarding playground and promoted the spirit of solidarity and attachment in the UEH student community but also helped students develop their logical thinking skills, information synthesis skills and skills to present their initiatives clearly and accurately.

Top 10 Outstanding teams with 3 highest positions

To further spread these values to a large number of students, the Top 10 best products including topics as Global citizens in relation to practice; International quality assurance; Technology - Multimedia communication; Internationalization and academic reputation; Multidisciplinary in relation to practice, etc. were displayed at the "University Day" exhibition until November 16, 2023 at Hall B1 - Campus 279 Nguyen Tri Phuong and from November 17 - 18/2023 at Campus A, 59C Nguyen Dinh Chieu, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City.

The Mindmap Design Exhibition themed " Multidisciplinary and Sustainable UEH" was taking place, let's explore this meaningful exhibition space at Campus B-UEH (279 Nguyen Tri Phuong, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City) and Campus A (59C Nguyen Dinh Chieu, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City).
