Voluntary and Community Connection Program "Spring Sunshine 2024" on the Occasion of the 10th Anniversary of the Establishment of the School of Government (2014 - 2024)

As part of a series celebrating the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the School of Government (February 27, 2014 - February 27, 2024), on the morning of February 17, 2024, at the headquarters of the People's Committee of Hoa Xuan Commune, Buon Ma Thuot, the School of Government - UEH College of Economics, Law and Government together with its Alumni (UEH - SOG Alumni) coordinated with Buon Ma Thuot City Police Department, Central Highlands General Hospital, and Young Doctors Association of Dak Lak province to organize the voluntary and community connection program "Spring Sunshine 2024".

The program had the participation of Dr. Dinh Cong Khai - Deputy Director of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH); Specialist Doctor Level 2 Trinh Hong Nhut - Deputy Director of Central Highlands Regional Hospital; Mr. Phan Thanh Trinh - Chairman of Dak Lak Province Young Doctors Association and Major Tran Le Thuy Hang - Deputy Head of Buon Ma Thuot City Police Department. On the side of the local authority of Hoa Xuan commune, there was the participation of Mr. Tran Quang Long - Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Commune People's Committee; Mr. Y Niva Byã - Vice Chairman of the Commune People's Committee and Mrs. Phan Thi Chung - Chairman of the Commune Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee. In addition, the program also had the participation of doctors and nurses from Central Highlands General Hospital; Youth union members, Women's Union,  Buon Ma Thuot City Police Union, and nearly 300 compatriots of Hoa Xuan commune.

At the medical examination and treatment session, the Group performed free examinations, distributed medicine, and provided health advice to nearly 300 people in Hoa Xuan commune, Buon Ma Thuot City. In addition, the program also distributed more than 100 health insurance cards to disadvantaged minorities.

The charity and community connection program "Spring Sunshine 2024" is a practical and meaningful activity of the School of Government in calling for social resources to implement community responsibility health care to the people, especially ethnic people in difficult circumstances in the Central Highlands region. The program also contributed to raising awareness and facilitating people to access quality medical services to improve their living standards. This was one of the practical activities to carry out UEH's mission of connecting the community and spreading knowledge, contributing to the sustainable development of Vietnam.
