On April 26, 2024, the School of Foreign Languages, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) partnered with Dong Thap University and the Regional English Language Office (U.S. Consulate General) to host a dynamic workshop centred about Green Technologies and Environmental Sustainability. This event was a key activity within the Youth Ecology Scholarship Conference, fostering collaboration and learning among 50 teachers and students from UEH and Dong Thap University.

The workshop commenced with an engaging panel discussion on opportunities for postgraduate studies, featuring accomplished professionals in the field. Panellists included Ms. Jill King - English teaching fellow from RELO; Mr. Tam Nguyen and Ms. Thu Vo - Geography and English lecturers from Dong Thap University; Mr. Tho Vo - Program Director of the Master's program in English Language Studies at UEH; Ms. Nhu Nguyen and Ms. Trang Nguyen - English lecturers from UEH

The main session of the workshop employed the "WORLD CAFE" format, with students divided into groups to discuss various environmental issues guided by teachers and representatives from environmental groups Sai Gon Xanh and Gaia Conservation. Following these discussions, students collaborated within their groups to prepare poster presentations proposing solutions to specific environmental challenges.

The workshop culminated in these student presentations, showcasing thoughtful analyses and innovative ideas. Participants reflected on their experiences throughout the day, emphasizing the value of networking and knowledge exchange between the universities.

The event was hailed as a success, enabling students to deepen their understanding of environmental sustainability, forge meaningful connections with peers, and develop practical solutions to pressing ecological concerns.
