The program attracted the participation of over 30 students, offering new perspectives on sustainable urban development through creativity, arts, and social initiatives. This activity is part of the UNAI Hub Chair SDG 11 program and also serves as an opportunity for academic connection between De Montfort University – Chair of the SDG 11 Hub – and the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH).

As the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment is conducting broad consultations on the Draft Law Amending and Supplementing Several Articles of the Law on Environmental Protection, Vietnam's sustainable development story is once again placed at the center of policymaking. As the economy enters a phase of rapid growth, deeper integration, and a new wave of investment, pressure on the environment has increased significantly - from domestic pollution and the risk of importing outdated technologies to cross-border environmental challenges. At the same time, the requirement to fulfill international commitments such as the Paris Agreement and the Net Zero emissions target demands that Vietnam rapidly transition to a low-carbon development model, promoting a green and circular economy.
