On April 16th, 2013, UEH organised the Ceremony honoring excellent UEH staff of 2012. Award winners are:
- Lecturer of the year Award: Associate Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh (Faculty of Public Finance), Associate Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dinh Tho (Faculty of Business Administration), and Associate Prof. Dr. Vo Van Nhi (Faculty of Accounting – Auditing)
- UEH authority of the year Award: Bui Quang Hung (Department of Finance - Accounting), Nguyen Thien Duy (Center of Economic Services), and Associate Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Si (Institute of Graduate Studies)
- Staff member of the year Award: Vu Minh Thoan (Department of Personnel- Administration), Ly Thi Tuyet Loan (Department of Personnel - Administration) and Ninh Van Phuc (Department of Facilities-Equiment Management)
- Researcher of the year Award: Associate Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dinh Tho (Faculty of Business Administration), Prof. Dr. Tran Ngoc Tho (Faculty of Corporate Finance), Associate Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh (Faculty of Public Finance)
