Cultural Festival Welcoming New Students "Noi Vong Tay Lon 2020" - FIGHT & SHINE

"Noi Vong Tay Lon" is the annual program to welcome new students of University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City. The program is divided into Daytime Festival and Night Festival with exciting game booths and top musical performances.

This year's "Noi Vong Tay Lon" with the theme Fight & Shine is celebrated to remind you of the difficult process that K46 students have gone through, thereby affirming, “Everyone is a warrior and UEH will be the place to help you find your own path. "

The Fight theme festival is divided into 6 booths by UEH clubs / faculties / institutes / teams / groups, named: The Town of Light, Village 1976, the Town of Magic, Tower of Wisdom, E -Gang, and the Suburbs. The booths are inspired by the University's subjects blended with the creation of the lands, representing adventure, exploration, fighting and overcoming challenges.

Students came very early to attend the opening of the program. Mr. Tran Nhat Hoang - President of the University Students Union had the opening part of the cool festival, creating a bustling and exciting atmosphere, opening a festival that is bound to be enthralling and brings tons of joy.

The booths are always the special highlight of the festival. At the booths, students can interact, learn about UEH's clubs / teams / groups / faculties, participate in games, and make new friends.

Folk Music Club brought "Fight" arena at the Festival a familiar and fun atmosphere. Folk Music friends are very charming, active and lovely.

The festival also scored points with new magic performance and rap battle about the story of "studying at UEH" through the perspective of the first year boy, third year brother and alumni.

As the name "Fight" implies, the performances were all captivating, joyful and full of positive energy.

The lively atmosphere at the festival was attended by singers Thinh Suy and Pay.

The "Noi Vong Tay Lon" Festival 2020 titled Shine really exploded and marked with a series of top performances and the participation of famous singers such as: Hieuthuhai and Gerdnang, Deo Choat, Big Daddy and Emily, Lou Hoang. The night was a story about the difficulties, ups and downs and the shining journey of each student entering the university environment. Some photos of the festival were taken:

The speech of Dr. Nguyen Thien Duy - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Head of the Training Department regularly opened the ceremony at the Night Festival.

At the ceremony of the Festival, scholarships were awarded to students with hardships and good academic achievements during the curriculum.

The audience was satisfied with the "home-grown" performances, which were enthusiastically prepared and carefully invested from costumes to sound and light by the students. The performance of the night was led by a story with ups and downs, dynamic and quiet episodes, through which the students could clearly feel the program circuit with the theme "Shine".

The success of the Night Festival is also the participation of famous singers. During the cheers, the atmosphere at the A116 hall was hotter than ever. Not a moment was the students not burning wholeheartedly with familiar songs. Especially at the end of the festival, singer Lou Hoang and UEH students sang the renowned song "Noi Vong Tay Lon".

The festival was a huge success with enthusiasm and a burning atmosphere.

"Noi Vong Tay Lon 2020" - Fight & Shine has officially ended with enthusiastic support from the students attending. "Noi Vong Tay Lon" has been, is and will be, the greatest program to welcome new students of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City.
