The campaign went beyond infrastructure improvements, focusing on enriching the community’s cultural, athletic, and academic experiences, as well as awarding scholarships to underprivileged children and organizing summer classes and activities for local youth.

One of UEH's most welcomed volunteer efforts is the Spring Volunteer Campaign. In 2023, this campaign brought together youth to embody sharing and compassion, with activities like the "Reunion Journey 2023 - Going Home with PVoil for Tet,” “Sharing Spring,” “Prideful Spring,” and “Spring for Warriors." These activities brought the spirit of Tet to those in need, reinforcing UEH’s role in connecting resources to support disadvantaged groups in Ho Chi Minh City and remote border regions.

The annual UEH Blood Donation Week is another well-supported activity that fosters compassion within the UEH community. Participating faculty, staff, and students not only help patients in critical need but also contribute to the health of the larger community (local communities, disadvantaged people, refugee or immigrant communities). In its 47th year, the event was promoted online by the UEH Student Volunteer and Support Fanpage through educational posts on topics like blood donation benefits, procedures, and aftercare, emphasizing community consciousness and inspiring a life of generosity.

On May 28, 2023, UEH’s Labor Union and the College of Technology and Design (CTD) organized "UEH Children's Day" for staff members' children. With a theme of "STEAM Festival: Creative Art Design - Moments of Childhood and Robot Technology Experience," the event offered engaging activities that fostered creative thinking and individual strengths.

UEH also values retired faculty members, organizing annual gatherings, visits, and celebrations. On November 16, 2023, UEH hosted a gathering for retired faculty in celebration of Vietnam Teachers' Day, marking the 41st anniversary (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2023). Through the Labor Union, UEH has also gathered data to continue supporting retired faculty with gifts for Teachers' Day, Lunar New Year, and International Day of Older Persons.

These efforts not only improve the quality of life for vulnerable groups but also spread kindness and solidarity throughout society.
