UEH Batch 25 Reunion Series – The 20th Graduation Anniversary

On the occasion of the 20^th Graduation Anniversary of Batch 25 UEH, the Executive Board of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City Alumni Network (UEH Alumni) in collaboration with Batch 25 Alumni Activity Committee organized a series to celebrate 20 years of graduation – Reunion of the UEH Batch 25 from August 11-12, 2023. The series including meetings, visits to UEH campuses, and a variety of golf, football, and tennis competitions were responded to and returned by more than 200 alumni of Batch 25.

The reunion program for Batch 25 UEH - 20th Graduation Anniversary was held on the afternoon of August 12, 2023, at Hall B1.302 in a warm and loving atmosphere.

Attending the meeting, on behalf of UEH Alumni leaders, there were Dr. Tran The Hoang – Permanent Vice President of UEH Alumni; Mr. Truong Minh Kiet - Head of Department of Marketing and Communication and General Secretary of UEH Alumni, along with more than 100 alumni of Batch 25 attended the meeting.

Speaking at the program, Dr. Tran The Hoang - Standing Vice President of UEH Alumni - welcomed the return of Batch 25 Alumni with extremely exciting and impressive activities. Dr. Tran The Hoang exchanged information related to the development of the university in recent years, along with the development orientation of UEH to become a multidisciplinary and sustainable university. It was a journey full of ambitions and aspirations of the school's staff and employees, as well as days of relentless efforts, marking the maturity of so many generations of UEH students.

Mr. Tran Dai Nghia - Representative of Batch 25 Alumni - emotionally shared his feelings on the day he returned to visit the school, which is attached to his memories in the lecture halls. He also thanked the UEH Leadership Board and the Executive Board of the UEH Alumni Network for facilitating Batch Alumni to have meaningful activities to visit the school.

With a journey of nearly 48 years of construction and development, UEH has always focused on strengthening comprehensive and long-term cooperative relationships with organizations, agencies and businesses through the program "Community Connection - Spreading Knowledge - Sustainable Action” so that the partners can accompany in the process of training high-quality human resources; at the same time, bringing values to society and the community, especially spreading the value of multi-field and multi-disciplinary knowledge. At the meeting, Mr. Truong Minh Kiet - Head of Department of Marketing and Communication, General Secretary of UEH Alumni - introduced the program “Community Connection - Spreading Knowledge - Sustainable Action” so that alumni can accompany UEH to contribute to the spread of knowledge, civilization and comprehensive educational values to the community.

During this return, the alumni were guided to visit Campus B - 279 Nguyen Tri Phuong District 10. The tour helps alumni recall precious memories on campus, share and feel the changes of UEH over the years, and further tighten the feelings of attachment, connecting generations. Outing Golf UEH K.25 – 20th Graduation Anniversary: Fundraising for UEH Talent Incubation

Opening the sports series, on August 11, 2023, at Tan Son Nhat Golf Course, the Executive Board of the Alumni Network of University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH Alumni) organized the UEH K.25 Outing Golf Tournament – Celebrating 20 years of Graduation with the participation of 50 golfers.

The golf tournament was organized to connect and exchange 25 UEH Alumni. In addition, this is also an opportunity for alumni to contribute to the educational development of the school, through the UEH Talent Incubation Scholarship Fund.

The golf tournament was started in favorable weather conditions with a professional organization. The golfers were very excited to conquer the golf course to win attractive prizes.

Football exchanges between UEH Employee Team and Alumni Team of Batch 25 at Campus N – Nguyen Van Linh Street, Binh Chanh

On the morning of August 12, at the Nguyen Van Linh Sports Complex, the Executive Board of the Alumni Network of the University of Economics of Ho Chi Minh City (UEH Alumni) successfully organized a football match between the UEH Employee Team and Batch 25 Alumni Team.

With a spirit of enthusiasm, the players of the teams devoted to the audience a beautiful and extremely attractive match. In the end, two friendly matches ended with the scores of 2-2 and 3-2 in the joy of solidarity and friendship between the UEH Employee Team and Batch 25 Alumni Team.

On the morning of August 12, 2023, at the tennis court of Aviation Club, there was also a tennis match between UEH Employees and Batch 25 Alumni with enthusiastic responses of 14 pairs of athletes.

The tournament took place in the spirit of enthusiasm of all participating athletes, creating a fiery atmosphere along with tactical shots of very attractive matches.

After dramatic matches, the Organizing Committee awarded the following prizes:

First Prize: Mr. Phan Ngoc Danh and Mr. Pham Quang Huy – UEH Employees

Second Prize: Mr. Le Xuan Hien and Mr. Ha Hoang The Quang – K25 Former Student

Third Prize: Mr. Le Van Tam and Mr. Duong Minh Hai – UEH Employees

Fourth Prize: Mr. Nguyen Khac Hao and Mr. Nguyen Tien Trung – K25 Former Student

Within the framework of the 20th Graduation Anniversary of Batch 25, besides sports activities, Batch 25 alumni contributed to the GIVING TO UEH program including the following items:

"Hàng cây K25" worth 102,000,000 VND

“Hàng ghế công viên sân trường” worth 36,000,000 VND

Contributing to the Talent Nurturing Scholarship Fund 390,000,000 VND

Over 48 years of establishment and development, the UEH common house has witnessed the efforts, youthful ambitions, maturity and reaching out to the great sea of many generations of learners. For now, the UEHers come back, contribute together, build for the development of UEH, and connect and support the next generation of juniors.
