NEU delegation visited and worked at UEH: 46 years of attachment, construction and development

Over the past 46 years, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) and National Economics University (NEU) have had a close relationship. Together they have built, grown, and developed, becoming two leading universities in Vietnam's economics, business, and management field. This good traditional relationship has been maintained and cultivated by many generations of leaders of the two schools with practical activities every year. For example, recently, a delegation of NEU staff and lecturers visited and exchanged working experiences with UEH for two days, from 8 to 9 January 2023.

UEH and NEU have had a close relationship throughout the development process, especially in the last ten years; the cooperation between the two universities has become more comprehensive, deepening into many professional activities and expanding yearly. The two schools have specific coordination activities, contributing to completing the essential tasks of the two units for sustainable development together.

On January 8-9, 2023, the delegation of NEU staff and lecturers consisted of 17 members, led by Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Chuong - Rector of NEU, as head of the board, who had a business trip to visit and work at UEH. In the journey of attachment, the two schools affirmed the good traditional relationship that has been constantly preserved and promoted through many generations.

Continuing and working with NEU on the UEH side, there was the presence of Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dong Phong - Chairman of the University Council; Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh - President; Dr. Bui Quang Hung - Vice President; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Khac Quoc Bao - Vice President; Dr. Dinh Cong Khai - Vice President; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Phan Thi Bich Nguyet - Chairwoman of the Strategic and Policy Advisory Council; Member Colleges’ Board of Directors and leaders of UEH units/departments.

At the beginning of the business trip, the NEU delegation visited UEH campuses such as campus A - Nguyen Dinh Chieu, campus N - Nguyen Van Linh, and campus B - Nguyen Tri Phuong.

In the spirit of openness and friendliness, the two sides exchanged experiences on research work, improved training quality and school administration, expanded cooperation programs such as experience in building a campus in Vinh Long, experience in building a 3-level school model at UEH, experience in using digital signatures in business management and administration...
