Result Announcement of Architectural Project Recruiting Contest for University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City Training and Research Institution in Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa

After 45 years of establishment and development, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) has implemented activities to form a training and research institution, orientating to be a UEH Campus at Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa with the mission of high-quality training and research, contributing to providing human resources for the sustainable development of Nam Trung Bo - Tay Nguyen Region. With the aims of seeking optimal architectural design projects and organizing a modern, dynamic, creative, green, and sustainable space, from November 2021, UEH has collaborated with Khanh Hoa Architects’ Association on holding Architectural Project Recruiting Contest for University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City Training and Research Institution in Nha Trang and officially announcing the result of this contest on January 12th, 2022.

Since Architectural Project Recruiting Contest for University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City Training and Research Institution in Nha Trang was launched in November 2021, it has attracted the concerns of 25 units and joint ventures consulting to participate in which 16 units have submitted their products.

From 7^th to 8^th January 2022, in Nha Trang, Recruiting Panel including experiential architects in Khanh Hoa, leading academicians and educators, and Heads of UEH, graded 16 projects of 16 units.

After analyzing and considering all criteria, Panel selected awarded submission projects with 01 First Prize, 02 Third Prizes (without Second Prize), specifically comprising:

01 First Prize was awarded to a project with the code GN01 of WINHOUSE Architecture & Construction J.S.C (Address: 4^th floor - 51 Xo Viet Nghe Tinh, Hoa Cuong Nam Ward, Hai Chau District, Da Nang).

02 Third Prizes were awarded to 2 projects: a project with the code KV89 of KKV Construction Architecture Company Limited (Address: 37 So 1 Street, Ward 4, Go Vap District, HCMC), and a project with the code VU78 of VHA Architects Company Limited (address: 4th floor, N10 building, 03, Tran Khanh Du Street, Phan Chu Trinh Ward, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi).

With the support and facilitation of Khanh Hoa Province, UEH Nha Trang will be located on a 2.1ha-wide campus in North Hon Ong Vocational and Training School Area, next to Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, Provincial Political School, and so on.

To adapt to the missions as well as expectations of Heads and citizens of Khanh Hoa Province, UEH Nha Trang issued standard requirements initially with optimal design projects, organizing a modern, dynamic, creative, green, and sustainable space. This is not only a high-quality human resource training institution for the Central and Tay Nguyen Regions but also a location attracting the concerns of academicians, national and international specialists for working and traveling in Nha Trang.

The establishment and operation launching of a training and research institution orientating to be UEH Nha Trang Campus is a suitable and essential step for the eco-social development of Khanh Hoa Province and South Central Coast - Tay Nguyen Regions. UEH Nha Trang will become a training, research, applied, and consultant institution which is internationally and nationally reputable and accompanies the local authority and citizens of Khanh Hoa Province as well as South Central Coast and Tay Nguyen Regions in the mission of evolving the eco-society of this region.
