Story of Giving - Launching story: Story of the Two terms ‘Connection’ and ‘Union’

We have been living in a world where Connection is slowly becoming a popular keyword. Although appearing in many different efforts, Connection has the same purpose, that is, to share resources towards creating values ​​for the community.

On this meaningful journey, UEH has been creating our own connection story. It is the story of “CONNECTING” multi-disciplinary, multi-field and all stakeholders together towards “UNION” with the belief that “knowledge will be a meaningful and sustainable starting point for our Vietnamese future generations”. Giving to UEH is our way of extending the links of nearly 1,000 UEHer teachers, more than 30,000 learners, more than 240,000 alumni, and more than 500 organizations and businesses collaborating every year. The program is a periodic, multi-colored bridge with: The monthly email series The story of Giving; Fundraising and saving project every day UEH Giving Tree; and UEH Giving Day annual networking event for organizations, businesses and communities.

After nearly one-month launching, the Program has received 15 billion VND in contributions from 50 business partners, 30 alumni and more than 200 teachers, officials and learners at UEH. With the criterion “Small actions today - Big beliefs for the future”, UEH Giving 2022 will continue to develop with meaningful missions as follows:

• Nurturing talents: Awarding 2,000 scholarships to wing dreams and scholarships to develop talents with the total value of more than 10 billion VND;
• Reaching out to International level: Upgrading facilities according to international standards; Invite international experts to share at international conferences with a budget of more than 15 billion VND;
• Spreading knowledge: Organizing scientific seminars; Support incubating innovative start-up projects with a budget of 10 billion VND;
• Sustainable action: Implementing the Projects “Building and operating the Living Lab UEH Zero Waste model” and “Supporting digital transformation for high schools” with a calling value of 3 billion VND.

It goes without saying that to give has been happier compared to receive. No matter how much or little, each contribution from the community is a great support for UEH and future generations of knowledge.

Today, UEH would like to use the Story of the Two terms Connection and Union to start a series of Emails concerning giving and receiving stories, Monthly Giving topics for all of us to listen, to sympathize and to give each other cherished love.
