The 39th Graduation Ceremony - the Talented Bachelor Program of ISB, Master, Doctor of the full-time and associated program in English

On the morning of August 20 2017, at Main Hall A116 (59C Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street, Ward 6, District 3, HCMC), the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh city (UEH) solemnly organized the 39th Graduation Ceremony - the Talented Bachelor Program of ISB, Master, Doctor of the full-time and associated program in English.

Attending the ceremony, on Western Sydney University (WSU)’s side, there were Prof. Peter Shergold - Chancellor; Prof. Barney Glover - President; Prof. Yi-Chen Lan - ProVice Chancellor of Global Development; Prof. Nigel Garrow - Deputy Dean; Mr.Phil Johns - National Executive Director, AusCham HCMC Office. On behalf of UEH, there were Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dong Phong - President, Dr. Tran The Hoang – Chairman of the university Council; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trong Hoai - Vice president, distinguished guests, lectures, students and their parents.

In this graduation ceremony, there were 234 new Doctors, Masters and Bachelors, in which, 09 new Doctors of Business Administration - WSU; 41 new Masters of Business Administration - UEH; 70 new Masters of Business Administration - WSU; 90 new talented Bachelor - UEH; and 24 new Bachelor of Business Administration – WSU.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Dong Phong congratulated new Doctors, Masters and Bachelors on receiving the degree. He, on behalf of the university’s board, recognized the continued efforts in cultivating their knowledge and skills at UEH, which were indispensable for their future. UEH considers the English curriculum as an opportunity of the university to access the advanced education; however, as also the challenge in the development of research-oriented university; as a tool to improve its curriculum quality so that it is on par with other universities in the region and gradually confirm the integration of the world.
