The leaders of Dong Thap province worked with the University of Economics in Ho Chi Minh City on the program of cooperation.

Secretary of the Provincial People's Committee Le Quoc Phong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Minh Tuan and leaders of some Dong Thap departments and units, have just received and worked with the delegation of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City about the cooperation agreement program between the province and the university. The delegates reviewed the contents of cooperation between the Provincial People's Committee and the university from 2017 to present in the fields such as training, research, consulting on socio-economic development, and improving the quality of human resources.

Through the support proposals of branches, the Provincial People's Committee on many contents, Prof.Dr. Nguyen Dong Phong - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the School Council highly unanimously agreed and wished the two sides to cooperate more actively with many practical contents to meet the development needs of Dong Thap province. Secretary of the Provincial People's Committee Le Quoc Phong asked the two sides to summarize the recent cooperation program and propose a signing cooperation program in the next phase, with a specific assignment. In particular, it is expected that the school will foster, train human resources, contribute solutions, ideas ... to implement agricultural restructuring, tourism development, start-ups, planning, and breakthrough contents to contribute to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 11th Provincial Communist Party Congress, term 2020-2025.
