In the afternoon of October 9th, 2017, at Campus A 59C Nguyen Dinh Chieu, the University of Economics (UEH) signed a memorandum of understanding about agreement of educational cooperation with Tel-Aviv University, Israel.
Attending the event, on behalf of Tel-Avis University, there was Prof Raana Rein – Vice President. On UEH's side, there was the participation of Prof. Nguyen Dong Phong – President.
Areas of cooperation between the two universities include:
- Cooperate in exchange of scholarship plans of mutual interest;
- Pursue faculty and student exchange programs, terms to be discussed at a later date and on a case-by-case basis;
- Seek exchanges to cultural and artistic activities;
- Collaborate on cooperative research and hold joint academic seminars where appropriate.
Through the execution of this agreement, both university are agreeing to seek ways to implement the above stated areas of cooperation and to create enhanced educational value for the purpose of seeking possibilities to enhance mutual academic exchanges and to maintain close relationships between the two institutions.
