UEH appointed the Dean of the School of Accounting and the Director of the Institute of Sustainable Finance

On the morning of January 27, 2021, at Campus A, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City held a ceremony to announce and award the decision to establish the Institute of Sustainable Finance; appoints the Dean of Accounting Department and the Director of the Institute of Sustainable Finance.

Attending the event, on the side of the university leaders, there was Prof.Dr. Nguyen Dong Phong - Chairman of UEH Council, Prof.Dr. Su Dinh Thanh - President, Prof.Dr. Nguyen Trong Hoai - Vice President; Dr. Bui Quang Hung - Vice President with leaders and officials of related units.

Pursuant to the Party Committee's Resolution No. 01-NQ/ĐU dated January 25th, 2021, the Principal issued Decision No. 178 dated January 27th, 2021 to appoint Dr. Tran Anh Hoa to be the Dean of the School of Accounting, in order to supplement leadership and promote the development of the School of Accounting. At the ceremony, the university's leaders gave the decision to appoint the Dean of School of Accounting for Dr. Tran Anh Hoa.

The university leaders awarded the decision and congratulated Dr. Tran Anh Hoa - Dean of School of Accounting.

At the ceremony, the university also announced the establishment of a new unit - Institute of Sustainable Finance, stemming from the fact that there are not many universities in Vietnam that are able to meet academic requirements, policy advisory, training and consulting, and implementing projects on Sustainable Finance. On January 25th, 2021, the UEH Council issued Decision No. 03 to establish the Institute of Sustainable Finance. On that basis, the Communist Party Committee issued Resolution No.03 dated January 25th, 2021 on personnel work, on January 27th, 2021, the Principal issued Decision No. 179 to appoint Associate Professor. Bui Thi Mai Hoai is Director.

Institute of Sustainable Finance is an affiliated unit of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, oriented to become a reputable training, research, and consulting institution in Vietnam on Sustainable Finance and interdisciplinary training programs between Sustainable Finance and related fields, highly appreciated by subjects in the private and public sectors.
