UEH attended the Singapore Economic Review Conference 2017 and signed an agreement to join the Research Centres Networking Group

In order to promote international cooperation in the field of training and research, from 2nd to 4th August, 2017 at Mandarin Orchard Singapore Hotel, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trong Hoai - Vice President of the University of Economics (UEH) attended the Singapore Economic Review Conference 2017 and signed an agreement to join the Research Center Networking Group (RCNG) including members who are academic organizations from Asia and Australia.

Derived from the common benefits among a network of research centres, this agreement includes the following contents:

-        Offer a visiting researcher programme that aims to facilitate and encourage committed research between faculty and research fellows across members. Expose students, lecturers to new research ideas and methodologies which are beneficial for their development;

-        Convene recurring joint workshops or conferences to which members can take turns to the host;

-        Encourage members of the networking group to convene joint workshops and conferences on common themes across research centres.

-        The Graduate School of Economics of Kobe University, Japan;

-        The Asian Development Bank Institute, Japan of Asian Development Bank;

-        The Asia Growth Research Institute, Japan;

-        The  School of Economics of Hiroshima University, Japan;

-        The Arndt Corden Department of Economics of Australian National University, Australia;

-        The University of Economics. Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam;

-        The Graduate School of International Studies of Korea University, Korea;

-        The Centre for New Structural Economics of Peking University, China;

-        The Centre for Research of Private Economy of Zhejiang University, China.
