Becoming a Multidisciplinary and Sustainable University, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) has consistently built an art-inspired community, aiming for sustainable values by creating meaningful and free art spaces for the community to visit and admire various artworks.
With the“Inspiration for People to Act on Sustainability," theme, this event series aims to inspire sustainable action for the environment, education, and society through the integration of art and technology.
This series features 16 exhibitions incorporating new ArtTech technology, appearing for the first time at a Vietnamese university. Highlights include 3D mapping art (Digital Art in 3D Mapping), Hologram Art, Visual Digital Art Exhibitions, NFT Artworks - Global Affordable Art, Photography Art Exhibitions, Virtual Fashion under the theme “Evoking Your Imagination”, International Student Artworks, Interactive Exhibitions between Humans and Machines, Motion Tracking Art, Visual Media Art, Creative VR, Mindfulness VR Exhibitions, VR Games, Interactive Art, and more.

On December 5, 2023, at the B Lobby - 279 Nguyen Tri Phuong, District 10, the Institute of Smart and Interactive Technology at UEH's College of Technology and Design (CTD-UEH) held the Kinetic Sand Table exhibition by first-year students from the Robotics and Artificial Intelligence engineering program. This exhibition showcased project-based learning outcomes and created a space for students to connect with top ArtTech experts from the start of their university journey.
The Kinetic Sand Table introduced in this exhibition is the students’ end-of-term project. Combining technology and art, this automatic sand-drawing table offers a soothing and relaxing experience as slow-moving metal balls glide over a white sand surface, creating various intricate and unique patterns.
