UEH Conferring Appointment Decisions to Management Officials for the Term 2020 - 2025

On June 3, 2024, at Hall A1.03, 59C Nguyen Dinh Chieu, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) announced and conferred appointment decisions to management officials for the term 2020 - 2025.

Along with the restructuring of functional units of University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, strengthening human resources for leadership and management positions has always been a concern of the UEH Leadership and carried out in compliance with prescribed procedures.

Based on the review and approval of the Party Committee, UEH Director signed and issued decisions to appoint management officials for the term 2020 - 2025 . Accordingly, on the afternoon of June 3, 2024, UEH organized an event to announce and confer decisions to appoint management officials for the term 2020 - 2025 at Hall A.103 - UEH Campus A.

The event had the participation of Prof.Dr. Nguyen Dong Phong - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the University Council; Prof.Dr. Su Dinh Thanh - Member of the Party Standing Committee, University Director; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Bui Quang Hung - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Director of UEH; Prof.Dr. Nguyen Khac Quoc Bao - Member of the Party Standing Committee, Deputy Director of the university; Dr. Dinh Cong Khai - Deputy Director of the university; Dr. Nguyen Thien Duy - Chairman of UEH Union; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Khanh Nam - Principal of UEH College of Economics, Law and Government and the heads and deputy heads of relevant units, appointed personnel, and numerous officials of the units under UEH.

Overview of the program

Based on the Resolutions of the UEH Party Committee, the University Director has signed and promulgated decisions to appoint management officials for the term 2020 - 2025 for the following positions: Vice Principal of the UEH College of Economics, Law and Government; Deputy Head of Human Resource Management; Deputy Chief UEH College of Economics, Law and Government Office; Deputy Director of the Institute of Sustainable Finance under the UEH College of Economics, Law and Government and Deputy Director of the Institute of Regional Development Research and Consulting.

Prof.Dr. Nguyen Dong Phong - Chairman of the University Council – announcing the decision to appoint Dr. Tran Thi Tuan Anh the position of Vice Principal of UEH College of Economics, Law and Government in 2020 - 2025

Prof.Dr. Su Dinh Thanh - University Director - conferring the decision to appoint MSc. Dang Thi Bach Van the position of Deputy Head of Human Resource Management in 2020 - 2025

Prof.Dr. Nguyen Khac Quoc Bao - Deputy Director of UEH university - conferring the decision to appoint Mr. Huynh Thuc Dinh the position of Deputy Chief of UEH College of Economics, Law and Government Office in 2020 - 2025

Dr. Dinh Cong Khai - Deputy Director of UEH university - conferring the decision to appoint Dr. Pham Thai Binh the position of Deputy Director of the Institute of Sustainable Finance, UEH Collge of Economics, Law and Government in 2020 - 2025, concurrently serving as Program Director of at the School of Public Finance.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Bui Quang Hung - Deputy Director of UEH university - conferring the decision to appoint Mr. Nguyen Thanh Su the position of Deputy Director of the Institute for Regional Development Research and Consulting in 2020 - 2025

Representing the appointed officials at the announcement and decision-making session, Dr. Tran Thi Tuan Anh shared: "On behalf of the appointed officials, I would like to send my most sincere thanks to the Board of Management and Party Committee for facilitating us to be a part of the restructuring of UEH. These changes will certainly come with many difficulties and challenges but will bring opportunities for each individual to develop professionally. We promise to quickly adapt and be able to successfully complete the assigned tasks."

Speaking at the Decision Announcement and Awarding Ceremony, Prof.Dr.Su Dinh Thanh congratulated the lecturers and employees who have just been appointed to leadership positions at all levels, Departments and Divisions of UEH. UEH Director emphasized that taking on new positions and tasks was both an honor and a new challenge to each official, requiring appointed managers to quickly adapt to their new jobs, increase research on the policies and regulations, cultivate thinking, link the strategies of each department and institute with UEH's overall development strategy, and always ensure solidarity and synergy for the entire school's development.
