An overview of the Conference

Representative of the host organization ISBM 20, Prof.Dr. Su Dinh Thanh - UEH Principal expressed his deep gratitude to the university community for coordinating to organize as well as preparing all conditions for the conference to take place successfully. The conference brings together the latest research, conducted by researchers from universities across the country, to solve problems of the application of information systems in business and management. In total, there are more than 32 research papers with 02 main topics discussing the role of information systems in business - management, and applied technology methods in business - management. The articles all apply many different approaches, from approximation model in economics, quantitative models in management information systems to models of machine learning and data mining in business.

Regarding the plenary session, the reporters took turns to present topics on the role of management information systems in the digital economy, experience in implementing information systems for businesses/localities, new direction of e-commerce in Vietnam. The speakers participating in the conference shared many issues of concern, such as: the implementation of a comprehensive information system in education, the impact of Covid-19 on businesses, the necessary conditions for businesses to implement digital transformation, difficulties and directions to promote e-commerce on a par with developed countries, at the same time highlighting the current situation and solutions to help small and vulnerable retailers to develop in the digital age...

The Conference on Information Systems in Business and Management helps to increase the sharing of research results on information resources management, to develop solutions and services based on information technology, as well as to exploit information systems in organizational forms and at the individual level. In particular, the conference received attention and shared meaningful and practical research results in terms of governance, organization and society in the context of the 4 Industrial Revolution.
