UEH Freezes Tuition for the Final Semester of 2026 - A Commitment to Supporting Learners and Delivering Genuine Value

28 Apr, 2026

Under Government Decree 238/2025/NĐ-CP dated September 3, 2025, tuition fees for the 2026-2027 academic year at higher education institutions are permitted to increase by approximately 13% compared to the previous academic year. However, UEH continues to honor the commitment stated in its enrollment prospectus: annual tuition adjustments shall not exceed 10%. This commitment allows students and families to plan their finances with confidence and clarity throughout their studies at UEH.

In the context of rising living costs and economic fluctuations, UEH has chosen to share in the difficulties faced by its learners by holding tuition steady for the final semester of 2026. This decision also carries special meaning as the university approaches its 50th anniversary.

Specifically, UEH will support all learners by charging tuition for Semester I of the 2026-2027 academic year at the same rate as Semester II of the 2025-2026 academic year. In effect, tuition for the final semester of 2026 will remain unchanged from the first semester of 2026.

Assoc. Prof. Bui Quang Hung, President of UEH, shared: "UEH wants our students and learners to study with peace of mind and plan their finances with confidence throughout their time here. In the face of market volatility and cost pressures, freezing tuition is our way of standing alongside students, learners, and their families. It is also a meaningful initiative marking UEH's 50-year journey of establishment and development (October 27, 1976 - October 27, 2026)."

A UEH representative noted that the university has always understood tuition to be one of the foremost concerns of students and parents alike. Beyond managing tuition increases responsibly, UEH continually strives to ensure that every investment in education delivers genuine value to its learners.

In addition to access to advanced academic programs, UEH students benefit from a modern learning ecosystem that includes the UEH Smart Library - with a collection of over 398,000 titles and access to databases from world-leading universities such as Harvard, Cambridge, and Oxford - alongside digital classrooms, simulation labs, virtual reality Studio Labs, and a wide range of practical experience and industry and international engagement activities. UEH has also recently invested in a range of student-centered facilities and services, including the UEH Shuttle Bus, an Immersive Room learning space, a new generation of green-oriented student dormitories, and a Green Action and Green Points system, all contributing to a modern, sustainable, and student-centered university environment.

Over its 50-year journey, UEH has remained steadfast in its learner-centered philosophy, continuously expanding access to quality education and cultivating a learning environment where every student can develop their abilities and pursue their aspirations with confidence.
