UEH monograph published by World Scientific Singapore (WSS)

The series of international monographs Vietnam and the Global Economy, published annually, shares on issues related to economy, business, finance, law, tourism,... in Vietnam, for lecturers, researchers, postgraduates, students who are interested in the fields of Vietnam's economy, business and finance. The book is a collection of excellent articles mostly from UEH lecturers and edited by the editorial board of UEH professors.

In particular, the first issue with the title "Recent Developments in Vietnam Business and Finance" was published by the prestigious international publishing house World Scientific Singapore (WSS). It is the first time that a a prestigious international publishing house has published a UEH book. The book collects excellent articles from the International Conference on Business and Finance (ICBF 2019) hosted by the Institute of Business Research (IBR), then selected, edited and appraised by the editorial team. The professional collection includes domestic and foreign scientists on the business environment and contemporary financial issues of Vietnam through 7 main topics: Corporate Finance and International Finance, Financial Markets, Accounting, Business Administration and Management, Marketing, Economic Development and Business and Law. The book series “Vietnam and the Global Economy” was developed by the Institute of Business Research (IBR) to publish special research on economic and business development in the context of the transitional economies and the global economy. At the same time, with the desire to create an academic forum and conditions for teachers to publish their studies by reputable international publishers, they gradually internationalize their research works.

In addition, the Book series also meets the conditions of legal regulations, such as procedures for standard recognition and appointment of professor and associate professor titles; Procedures for considering cancellation of title recognition and dismissal of professor and associate professor titles (Decision 37/2018/QD-TTg) stipulates the output conditions of graduate students according to the Regulation on enrollment and qualification training at Doctorate level (Circular No. 18/2021/TT-BGDDT).

It is a meaningful work to enhance academic prestige for UEH in order to introduce the researches of Vietnamese scholars to international scientists and is a significant work to celebrate 45 years of UEH's establishment.
