As a multidisciplinary university with strong academic reputation and practical consulting capacity, UEH has actively engaged in various initiatives to support localities - particularly Ho Chi Minh City (prior to the merger) and Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province (prior to the merger). These initiatives include participation in the analysis, development of policy proposals, and formulation of socio-economic governance strategies. In addition, UEH has implemented numerous training and professional development programs aimed at enhancing the leadership and management capacity of key personnel, as well as providing high-quality human resources for the region.
During the discussion session, Dr. Dinh Cong Khai shared his insights and analyses on the opportunities and challenges facing the newly expanded city, emphasizing the importance of reorganizing commercial space, modernizing supply chains, and - most crucially - developing a highly skilled workforce to meet the evolving demands of Ho Chi Minh City. The contributions from UEH provided strategic clarity, particularly in regard to building an integrated ecosystem of commerce, logistics, and production - leveraging the combined strengths of all three localities to generate synergistic value following the merger.
Dr. Dinh Cong Khai – Vice President of UEH – presented his recommendations during the discussion session.
