UEH School of Economics - Commodity trading market and job opportunities wide open

Last March, SEA - School of Economics Alumni cooperated with Gia Cat Loi Commodity Trading Joint Stock Company to successfully organize the first session training program "Commodity trading market and job opportunities wide open” for UEH students. The training session attracted nearly 100 students in the majors of investment, economics, banking and international business to attend.

In the training session framework, the UEHers have been listening to practical sharing from the seniors in the profession. This is an opportunity for students to approach and learn about the financial market in general and the commodity trading market in particular, through the enthusiastic and arduous sharing of Mr. Luong Tuan Vu - General Director of  Gia Cat Loi Commodity Trading Joint Stock Company, helping students to shape an overview of the commodity trading market and the benefits of the market to farmers and businesses. The speakers also answered questions about the labor market and "small tips" for students to pay attention to hone the necessary skills, prepare the luggage to adapt to the business environment quickly.
With dynamism, eagerness to learn and a love-the-breakthroughs personality, UEH young people have accumulated sufficient knowledge and expanded their understanding of the commodity trading market through this program.

In the Q&A section, two special guests - Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hoang (Marketing Manager of Gia Cat Loi Commodity Trading Joint Stock Company) and Mr. Tran Manh Nam (Technical Analyst) gave realistic sharing about the nature of work in the commodity market which allows students to have a clear view, thereby being able to grasp job opportunities after graduation.

At the same time, attending and successfully conquering the interview round also helps students to firmly grasp the opportunity to participate in the second session, "Real journey" at the business. With two sections of Knowledge and A practical working day, the second session promises to bring students a good deal of practical knowledge as well as interesting experiences of the position of Consultant at the company.
Following the training series"Commodity trading market and job opportunities wide open”, UEH and businesses will continue to implement many academic programs to provide knowledge and improve skills for students working in commodity trading markets, most notably the UEH Business Semester program.
