UEH Zero Waste Campus: “Drawing Rubbish Classification Pictures” Creation+ Workshop
Affiliated with UEH Zero Waste Campus project activity series and SMARTCITY+ FESTIVAL event, UEH collaborated with Tipsy Art on successfully organizing Creation+ Workshop with “Drawing Rubbish Classification Pictures” Theme to together spread “Rethink and Begreen” message to the community. The program took place from 9:00 to 15:00 on 17th December 2021 and attracted the participation of 45 students mostly from Architecture and Smart City Design and other majors of UEH. This was also considered as one of the priority activities exclusively for students majoring in Architecture and Smart City Design - one of the new majors implying multidisciplinary and sustainable development orientation of UEH.
Established in December 2015, Tispy is the young community’s favorite drawing-teaching brand. Tipsy Art is not only a drawing event but also wishes to bring inspirational moments of painting and art to the community, aiming at a new lifestyle, focusing on experiences and feelings, cosseting, and cherishing every minute of life by all senses.
Thanks to the art inspiration brought by Tipsy Art, UEH students had a meaningful activity to express their talents as well as artistic mindset most distinctively. Particularly, students’ contents of pictures recommended rubbish classification applying at UEH - one of the first steps forming a zero-waste university. Through those pictures, we have been partially aware of the positive support of students attending the UEH Zero Waste Campus project, orienting a UEH acting for sustainable development.

After the program, Organizing Board will select outstanding artworks and exhibit at suitable UEH areas to widely spread Rethink and Begreen message to UEHer Community. In the future, UEH will implement UEH Zero Waste Station: a station classifying, transporting, and turning waste into resources by world modern technologies.
