University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) launches the Student Exchange Program “UEH MEKONG SUMMER CAMP 2023 – Local Life, Global Mind”

UEH MEKONG SUMMER CAMP 2023 – Local Life, Global Mind is held for the first time for Vietnamese and international students studying at economic schools nationwide. Here, students will have more exciting experiences with many learning activities, research, and skill training activities, learn about cultural and diverse regional characteristics to self-improve, easily integrate with the surrounding environment, quickly respond to the requirements of employers and be ready to become a global citizen.

The program is organized by UEH together with economic schools in the country, including University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH); National Economics University, Hanoi; Foreign Trade University; University of Commerce; Banking Academy; Financial Institution; Academy of Policy and Development; University of Economics - Hue University; University of Economics - University of Danang; University of Economics - Hanoi National University.

Time and venue: 01 month (expected on June 26, 2023 to July 28, 2023) at the Campus of University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City in Vinh Long province (VLC), address: 01B, Nguyen Trung Truc, Ward 8, Vinh Long City, Vinh Long province.

Study program: Students will participate in activities including:

(1) Main academic program: participate in 02 modules in the undergraduate-level program at UEH (study in English), including:

Module 1: Logistics and supply chain management (3 credits).

Module 2: Simulation of an international business project (3 credits).

Students participating in the program are recognized for equivalent subjects and credits at 10 economic schools nationwide (see more at here).

(2) Technology capacity development program: UEH BizTech Hackathon

With the theme of Revolutionizing Agriculture, this is a playground for students from 10 schools and international students to exchange knowledge, share experiences, practice working methods, and seek innovative ideas and technology solutions to create new valuable products and services for agriculture.

(3) Mekong Field Trip Program

Students participate in river tours, with activities to experience the culture, craft villages, and specialties... of the Mekong Delta.

(4) Entertaining, skills training, and exchanging activities

Students are given the maximum conditions to practice comprehensive development, self-improvement, and incubate entrepreneurial thinking through a series of rich and diverse activities at UEH Vinh Long Campus.

Time and means of registration and selection process to participate in the program:

Registration time: By the end of April 15, 2023, or until there are enough 200 students, each school will select about 15 to 20 students/school.

Participation fee:

Students participating in the program only pay tuition fees equal to about 50% of UEH's main course fee (530,000 VND / 1 credit), and the Dormitory fee is 180,000 VND / full course. In addition, students can participate for FREE in the “UEH BizTech Hackathon” program and the exciting activities of 10 active clubs at UEH Vinh Long Campus.
